chaplin, I know the feeling. Those who are earnestly trying to serve the Lord, I'm convinced, will have many desert experiences. The pie in the sky theology of today leaves many of us thinking that we have missed God somehow. Anyone who reads through the Bible will find out God's choicest servants "were not on easy street." If we can be of any more help feel free to let us know. There are many folks on the Forum "who have been there and done that." "I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor. Surely the righteous will give thanks to Thy name; the upright will dwell in Thy presence."
