The Hebrew in your Stongs is 'akal aw-kal' Strong's 0398 it is also used like I said Anything that you let into your body in anyway, could be considered eaten. What you see, what you read, what you hear, or whatever actually goes into your body that you purposely let in In Genesis 31:15 it reads “Are we not counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us, and hath quite devoured also our money”.
