1 | Where does this story come from? | Not Specified | tlcsal | 65005
Have you ever heard the story of how a shepard suposidly will break the leg of a lamb that strays then carry it on his neck? Where does that come from? I have heard it related to what our Good Shepard will do to us, and I just don't agree with that at all. I just wondered if anyone knows where it started? Thanks. |

3 | Character descript of moses? | Num 12:3 | tlcsal | 40652
Jesus portrays Moses as the one who accuses us before the Father. John 5:45 "Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. Because of that verse I too have wondered about what Rev says about the "accuser of the bretheren". Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. Anyone have any input on this conection? I know that the Greek word for Accuse is categorio or a form there of. It is the same Greek that we draw our English word catagory from. Isn't that interesting. To put someone into a catagory, whether in our mind, heart, or daily life and leave them there, is catagorizing them and that is not a good thing from what I see. I am looking forward to your input. |

4 | animals and spirits? | Bible general Archive 1 | tlcsal | 39011
then where did the horse that Jesus rides come from? What about Rev 5:11 or 12 where he says that the Angels, the Elders, and the ANAMIALS are around the throne? I am sorry, but I believe that the Greek word zoe for life and describes all life including Jesus's reseraction life all the way down to carrots tells me that the life that God gives is His. So why wouldn't the anaimals be in heaven. THe only problem that is see is that human kind is sometimes so arragent that they just don't believe there is anyone as valuable as themselves.
5 | God is a spirit? Animals have spirits? | Bible general Archive 1 | tlcsal | 38891
The Old Testament's original language of Hewbrew does show that anamials have the same thing that we have. I suppose the only difference would be that they don't have the Holy Spirit. If you look at the word for spirit and soul in the books of Eclesties, Psalms, and Lamantations you will find that the word is the same one for the the spirit/soul of mankind.
