1 | High View of Scripture | Deut 29:21 | justme | 244032
Edb, I would not agree that the Roman Catholic Church has a high view view as hey believe that there are other sources that are equal to Scripture, that of what the Pope says. Any one who says something outside of the Bible is equal to Scripture, like someone saying "the Holy Spirit told me" is not equal at all. Or someone speaking in an unknown tongue is not equal to scripture either. justme. |

Doc. I have talked with Tony and he has changed a lot over the years. I am unsure that his red letter Bible holds up to his earlier statement. But I am sure on one thing I have a very, very HIGH view of Scripture. Justme |

3 | God bless you Christmas and in 2017 | Not Specified | justme | 244030
I want to wish all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ a very wonderful Christmas. We who have asked Jesus Christ to be our LORD and have become FOLLOWERS of Jesus Christ have the greatest reason to know what the TRUE meaning of Christmas really is. The entry of our Saviour into the world as a fully human and fully God man. Jesus is completely aware of all we endure while on this temporary journey on Earth. How wonderful to know jesus knows our sorrows, pain, and joy, and He relates to us totally. For those who have shown such patients with me and my misspelling, bad grammar, and even when I chase rabbits, I say thank you. For those who have prayed for my health in cancer, blood clots, and several surgeries I again say you are blessed. What I am trying to say is I love you all, and i really do mean have a wonderful Christmas. I am asking the Father to watch over you all that have been a part of the SBF. I say may God bless you even more this coming year. Please join with me and asking God to protect our country and to be close to our new president, Donald Trump, and may God watch over the believers in our country and the rest of the World. I also pray that Jesus might come soon. I sincerely appreciate two brothers who have been a blessing to me, Doc and EdB who have been with the SBF from the first. God bless you all. There is very little participation in and on the Study Bible Forum now. Mainly the dialogue going on is basically between two long time members. At this dialogue is not very Christ like. IMO the Study Bible Forum has out lived its usefulness. I would encourage those in charge of the Study Bible Forum to seriously consider that the life of the Study Bible forum has reached its end. For close to twenty years many of us have been loyal in our service to the Study Bible forum. Therefore it would be a shame to see the forum we all have worked and loved suffer any longer with just two or three remaining to keep it alive. For Lockman who has been so faithful and gracious to allow the Study Bible Forum all these years I say THANK YOU. I sincerely believe its now time to shut off the lights and close the doors. Merry Christmas to all, I hope its Good Night. December, seventeen, two thousand and siteenth. Justme |

Doc, I will call them today as this is a very serious situation that I do not think people don't know about or as in the case of Target Christians just don't care enough to refuse to buy things from that store. I hope when I call they will be more aware of this situation. Thanks Doc for suggesting that. justme |

Beja, The fact is we know AMAZON is the worlds that's the whole world, AMAZON sells and distributes Porn. I hope Christians will not support such a company. It is not like that AMAZON carries things that you can only get there. I find porn Satan's best trap. So many men, women, and children are ruine by this addictive material. Dis you know 80percent of men who call them self followers of Christ and are involved in church are viewinf porn on a regular basis? 60 percent at least of all pastors view porn on a regular basis. Boys between the ages of 6to 8 year of age now start viewing porn. find this a terrible situation and I believe AMAZON being the worlds largest distributor of this very destructive sinful addictive material something people need to know about and boycott AMAZON. It no longer is a fact we don't know about AMAZON, we do so now what? What would Jesus want us to do, repent. Acts 3:19. I respect you dear brother and I do not want to offend you. But we must alert one another when we know things like this. Blessings dear brother. justme |

I FOR ONE HATE AMZON. Amazon is the worlds largest distributor of porn in the world. I have deal friends who had a Christian book store, People would order books and material from Amazon rather than support a Christian book store. There comes a time when we as Christians say we will not support a company which does things contrary to solid Christian values. For instance, TARGET is being boycotted because of the men who wanting to be a woman, but not yet being transgendered wanting to use the woman's restroom. We need to support that. I honestly believe Christians need to say to AMAZON if you sell porn we will not buy from you. That's my view point, I will not support Amazon smile. Acts 3:19 |

How many of you are like me? I have prayed that the United States would turn from the liberal agenda of same sex marriage, abortion, and the immorality out nations leadership was taken our country down that steep slope. I have like many Christians I know have prayed, and asked the LORD to please change the direction our country was going. In all honesty I doubted that God would have Mercy on the United States, and a change would occur. Even with me honestly asking the LORD for His help, I was afraid it was too late and the US had so turned againgt the Lord He would allow further destruction, because many had turned against the LORD I believe if we as His Followers will continue to pray for our new President Trump, and those elected to serve, we will continue to see the LORDs forgiveness and restoration. I thank the LORD for His SON JESUS CHRIST. I ask you and those who read this to pray for all those elected, and that we commit our selves to pray for those who do not know Jesus, and especially that those who are followers of Jesus will be a light to those around them. I thank God for His Mercy upon our Country. Will you please pray for our leaders? |

15 | Do demons exist today? | Bible general | justme | 243775
Beja, thank you dear brother. here is a concern, when people in the church come into someone who appears to be a Follower who is oppressed, don't you think in some sermon they should know how to deal with it. I use Eph. cjapter 6, and the armor. But when say a family has a teenager who has been into all kinds of satanic stuff, and not being a Follower he seems like he is possessed, shouldn't parents know what to do? Iknow this may seem odd, but I think this happens and parents and kids just grow farther apart because the parents do not what they are dealing with, besides a stubborn teenager? God bless and again I am so very glad to see you back. Justme |

16 | As Christians should we openly support? | Rom 13:1 | justme | 243773
We both are in total agreement. I consider this election a separation od the goats from the sheep , as it really gets down to digging deeper into what party, not the person stands closer to Biblical principals. I can reach out and help those who are caught in satans trap of LGBT or other immoral lifestyles, but as for accepting that as a law of the United States, NEVER. This is a turning point election, and Followers of Jesus have only Gods Judgment for voting otherwise. God blees you brother. justme |

17 | Do demons exist today? | Not Specified | justme | 243766
Demons. Jesus dealt with Demons. Some say there are no more now in our church age. I say yes the demons are active and present to day. I have never, not once heard a sermon on "demons" in my 60 years as a Christ follower. Why are demons not brought out in sermons and how to make them leave? I an totally convinced by Scripture followers of Christ can only be oppressed, not possessed by Demons. So in what ways do Demons oppress Christians? can you give examples where you think someone was openly possessed by a demon. Clearly they could not be a Christian, so who would you think of? I would say Hitler would be one. |

Every four years the election of a President brings all kinds of view points. I have yet to see one where good meaning Christians done stand on opposite ends saying Jesus is on this side and not yours. The 2016 year election is even more so than other years. Liberty Universities president Dr. fawell has come out and stated who he supports for President. There have been a larger number of well known Christian Leaders who have also come out to cast their support for the same person as dr. Fallwell. This has me bewildered, as the person they are backing seems to be questionable in regards to their faith in Christ being genuine. With recent revelations about the person these Christian leaders are supporting in him having some serious character flaws that bring the genuineness of his faith, this seems to his supporters did not really know the person they stood behind. Now comes the sticky wicket. When we as Christians give political support, aren't we saying as Christians we feel this person has the things we think a Christian should have? For me I personally would rather say I stand for the Party which supports a pro life position, rather than casting my open support for a person who may come out with serious questionable character and moral flaws. When we as a Christian leaders place our open support for anything that could cause shame to the name of Christ, I believe it behooves at least me, to be very careful in what, who or anything I openly support saying as a Christian I approve anything. I am keenly aware of the many serious issues this Presidential has tied to it. I get how the next persons going to the Supreme Court are dependent on who gets elected as the President. I also see how Christians supporting both persons running have attacked each other, all using the word "Christian" as if God were on their side. Once again even though these are just working class people with not much influence they too are using Christ as proof of what seems to me as Christ is backing the person I support. Here is my question; as a citizen and Christ follower just how much written and vocal support should we give? When is it acceptable to lend our faith in Christ to support a person running for any public office? Also if you are running for office is it wise to openly say you are a Christian when running for office. Should leaders in places of leadership, like a University come out and use your position to support a person running for election? As a side note, I believe God will give the United States the person he feels will accomplish His will. Justme |
