1 | Why not see for yourself? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108228
Arguing about this any further is pointless. I will close with this, and you are free to have the last word: "Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you" |

Yes I believe that Jesus was capable of sinning, but did not because he had the Spirit of God without limit, and he submitted to it. Arguing about this any further is pointless. 8 | Need to qualify the acknowledgement? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108220
You could not just acknowledge it and leave it at that, you had to add that the passage needed to be read in context, which it does, but why state the obvious unless you are saying "yes, but..." Arguing about this any further is pointless. I will close with this, and you are free to have the last word: "Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you" |

12 | Time is short, why not wake up? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108216
You missed the point.

13 | Time is short, why not wake up? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108201
Please read 1 John 2:28 and 3:2. It does not not after he appears we become like him, it says when he comes we will be like him. Likewise the parable about the servants waiting for their master's return, after waking up from a long sleep. The servants that did not have oil in their lamps when the master returned were not permitted to enter. It's okay, you are not the only one that has been deceived by this lie that the devil has used to rob the cross of it's power, and keep Christians defeated. Now is the time to rise up, awake! The end is closer than ever. |

14 | Funny thing to take comfort in. | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108200
The only problem is that the enemy of those two rulers was a righteous man. There are consequences - look into it.
15 | Why not see for yourself? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108199
Let us not forget the verse we are discussing Hebrews 10:14. According to this verse we have already been made perfect, and are BEING made holy. I use the two words interchangeably sometimes, and perhaps I should more correctly be talking about holiness. We are already perfect by Christ's one sacrifice. Conscience and guilt, however, are different matters. Plug the keywords into Biblegateway, and, with regard to conscience, you will find that Paul declared that his conscience was clear: "My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me." and again "Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace." With regard to guilt, in Hebrews 10:22 it says "...let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water." Listen to your conscience, and surrender the things that are holding you back from victory in Jesus Christ. He wants to overcome the world for you if you will let him. There are rewards for you if you do. Read Revelation 2 and 3! I'm not making this stuff up. Please do not take my word for it, but research it yourself. Why not? |

16 | No greater bond than a common enemy? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108196
I recall two rulers of Israel that also became friends, after a history of disagreement, when they gained a common enemy.
17 | Loving only to one's face? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108195
This one written about me is not as loving. Loving to one's face, but not behind their back?
18 | How do you explain these passages then? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108193
Thank you for your post. I could feel the love, and the genuineness of the way you disagreed. How then, do you explain Revelation 2:7, 17, 26 and 3:5? He who overcomes is going to be given the right to eat from the tree of life, be given a white stone with a new name written on it, be given some of the hidden manna and authority over the nations, he will be dressed in white, and will not have his name blotted out of the book of life, and Jesus will acknowledge him before his Father. There are many, many more passages that you are going to have to explain as well. |

19 | Need to qualify the acknowledgement? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108189
I'm glad that you do acknowledge this. This means that you do not have the spirit of the Antichrist, and there is yet hope. I am a little concerned, however, that you felt the need to qualify the acknowledgement with a disclaimer. |

20 | Was that done in love? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108188
Interesting that you would choose a typographical error to take a stab at me with. Was that done in love? What would you do with more amunition, such as a bald head, a birth defect, or a speech impediment? If you knew me, would you find other things to poke fun at me about? What about the people around you? You are defeated. Turn to Christ, he will set you free.
