1 during the 3 days? Matthew tron613 195426
Again I said "study and pray" and be sure before you post. While I admire you conviction and know we are to beware false teaching, I remind you that when you are questioning other "leaders" you are in fact putting yourself in the seat to be questioned and held accountable. I don't disagree with you am just concerned.

As always, walking in love, tron613
2 during the 3 days? Matthew tron613 195407
With all due respect, I am not questioning your right to challenge, just merely stately that as you feel they are not doing sound teaching and will be held accountable, ohters may feel the same about you and therefore as I stated we should all be sure before we post.

3 during the 3 days? Matthew tron613 195402
I must admit that I don't entirely agree with some of the answers given, but in the past have been able to "sift the wheat from the chaff" with prayer and study for myself, but this seems to be out of control to the point of worry for misguidance and responsibility as such.
Whether the afore mentioned televangelist are "butchering" the scripture is not something that need to discussed for who made us authority? They and whoever else takes on the responsibilty of leadership shall be held accountable. We are all to study and and pray for ourselves to get understanding. So to all who participate, I would advise we all do as BradK does and be sure before we post.

Walking in love, tron613

I accept your apology and in return ask you to forgive me for allowing this to disrupt our fellowship. I hope that we can just agree to disagree and seek the truth in peace. I am praying for you and hope you do the same for me.

your new sister-in-Christ

I am through with your battle of words, but for your information, those scriptures were copied and pasted from the amplified bible which is one of the two approved version on this website.

I didn't even read the rest of it since it seems you are not here to study and fellowship, but to cause grief
7 What was the mark on Cain put by God? Genesis tron613 192555
I agree with you Debbie and I think it also shows the grace and mercy of God even then prior to Christ sacrifice.

First off changing them did not change what I meant and according to 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit,
And 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

So therefore Christ did die for all, but not all will accept this gift. Thank you for your input though

No the gift is available for everyone, for as Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Those who have done this and repented have RECEIVED this gift.

12 Hypocrite and refused to be saved same? Bible general Archive 3 tron613 192419
Thanks Cheri and Jeff, I understood both answers and agreed with them. I thought it was meant that we handle the situation the way you two said. But was just responding to the use of the word "excommunication" as did jlhetrick

Finally someone who understood the whole question and answered accordingly to what I felt the Spirit was giving me. I was asking this in reference to another witness.
Thank you

I too believe that God predestines men and women to be saved, but I believe that is all of us, not a chosen few. Not all will make the right choice in time, but the gift is for everyone.

Thank you it was very helpful after I reread and got enlightenment from God
17 If we sin, can we still go to heaven? Eph 2:8 tron613 192395
First of all, Yes the bible does say that "our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost" but where do you interpret that to say that smoking is a sin and go even further that she will not go to heaven. I thought no one was perfect and without sin except Jesus Christ and that is what grace was for. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 says 7Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me--to keep me from exalting myself!
8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.

9And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Secondly, since no one is perfect except Jesus are we all not going to Heaven because of the "thorn in our sides" such as: overeating or eating things that are not good for us, drinking, hypocrisy, greed, etc.

I think she clearly stated that she is trying/praying to quit and that is all she needs to do. As far as "practicing sin" I think that is something done without conviction from the Holy Ghost and she would not even have asked the question.

Not sure if excommunication is the word or if that is what is implied here, but it does say to "deliver him over to satan" and "not to associate with immoral people" do you interpret this to mean put them out of the church or just ignore them and not associate with them in the church.
19 I need to know if this is a cult? Titus tron613 192382
Yeah, after I posted it I noticed the date, however, it can never hurt to remind people to always go with confirmation from the Word or God himself.

20 I need to know if this is a cult? Titus tron613 192380
Hooray for you EdB, nothing, I mean nothing should be done or discussed without guidance from God, not that I think this forum is wrong in anyway, but people please Do Not accept any answers or opinions as fact unless you have substantial back-up from the Word of God or confirmation from God himself.
