|1||Do spirits reside within false gods?||Bible general Archive 3||Gillyhaz||190267|
|Fallen angels, evil spirits who roam the earth, can reside in false idol images.
Evil spirits can reside in any living being too.
The answer is not 'no', the answer is yes. Generational spirits do exist.
Proof is tangible; manifestations appear within a person suffering from evil spirits.
Ansering my question with a simple 'no', was unfair and unjust and did not glorify God.

|Thank you for your welcome. Not quite sure how yet to use this site but...
Thanks for your responses. I suppose I was asking if He has a contingency plan, so to speak. God set me free from the chains that bound me, over a period of 7 years. At the end of these years, when an ancestory spirit was identified, God spoke audibly; laying me on the ground, saying "Gillian, you are to go to Germany". Simple as that really, only, although I had the opportunity to take the coach with all the other warriors in Christ, I couldn't bring myself to leave the UK. So many years have passed since this time, and I'm no closer to receiving His blessing in this, than I was in 1997. He said He would set me upon a stage to preach good news to the poor and bind up the broken hearted. It's never happened and although my relationship with Jesus is as bold and as strong as it ever was, the fact that I refused God's order and followed a different path, has left me wondering if there's any way back? Does scripture refer to anyone, after repentence, receving an original blessing/order of obedience from God?
'God's-elect' asks how I can refuse the entity that created me? Easy, He gave me free Will and with that Will, I chose not to obey.
Yes, I have been forgiven from disobedience and blessed with His love, and have had to accept that Germany just didn't happen.
Another life transired and it's that life that I'm now living, hence the adjustments in living out His Will for my life - just not the original plan I know He had for me.
God bless all who have given me some encouragement.

|I submitted a note explaining the history behind my situation, however, on submitting it, I cannot now find it.
Is there a time cut-off point or a way of losing the notes on this forum?
I shall endeavour to look up the scriptures requested by Steve and post them for discussion. I must admit, I'm slightly dismayed at losing all the notes I've just typed in, but hey, it won't be the first time I've been sidetracked when trying to talk about my testimony.
2 Kings refers to Ashtoreth, the high priestess, and Baal. Ashtoreth was cast out a an ancestrial spirit. Deut scriptures regarding audible voice. Please bear with me whilst I take my bible and search out the long forgotton scriptures from my past.

I hope I haven't caused any ill feeling when I asked the question about refusing God. He did give us free Will and I used that Will when I refused to obey Him, for which I have been very, very sorry. Please explain your reason or justification, when you say "no man can refuse God" as I truely want to understand, just in caser I am wrong.

|I have, again, just spent a few minutes explaining the back ground to my question and the Ashtoreth situation, only to find that the system threw me out! Please, is there a time limit to responding to these pages? I previewed the follow up twice before submitting my note, to find that the page closed before I posted my answer. I know what I have to say is contraversial and I dare say the devil is at work here as he doesn't want anyone to know the truth about him. God set me free from the spirit of Ashtoreth and although I just explained it all I lost the data. I am more than happy to be challenged by this subject. I can only go on experience and hope you believe the truth in what I say. EVery word, experience, has a scriptural balance. However, some of what I say needs undertanding from spirit filled Christians who will bear witness to the truth.|

|With grace, I am not pushing none biblical teachings. I simply asked questions from a forum of scripture based Christians. Christ set me free from demonic strongholds. There is no mystical teachings in what I say; every single statement I have made has been verified by God's word. How can you dispute what I say when you have no understanding of the demonic strongholds that satan rules over. I have no need to be removed from absured false teachings; noone is teaching me this. I have experienced trances, visions and prophecies. I am not confused by satan nor am I blinded by him. God is my saviour, He is the truth.
I understand your concern and your wish that I remove myself from this site, which I shall do.
God bless you and I pray Jesus blesses you and your family. Gill

|Brad, many thanks for your submission to my questions. I have realised that my questions and suggestions of the demonic stongholds are not welcome on this site and by grace I remove myself so as not to speak about things not understood. Jesus is the truth. My experiences are the truth, they are what I experienced. I do not follow my experience, I follow God and His word. God is not second place in my life. You have misunderstood my questions if you think i 'only go on experience', as that is not true. I pray God blesses you and brings you to an understanding of things not understood. God bless.|

I agree with all you say. I do not understand why you explain what you do as I do not disagree with you. Everything you say is the truth and I have never disagreed with the truth.
I was born again and received baptism in the holy spirit in 1987. Jesus saved me. I was given the gifts of the spirit and speak in tongues. I have prayed over people for deliverence and I have received deliverance myself.
I have no agenda and I do not understand why you have been accused of pushing an agenda.
I do not understand why you be admonished by some for your note.
The only thing I can think of is that some members of this forum have s not understood my orignial question.
Being admonished for writing what you believe, is out of order in my opinion. what sort of forum is this if people can't express their love for Christ and have tolerance and understanding and love from those who think they know better.
