1 follow-up question Gen 1:1 M.Royal 188363
  Hello Mto,

It is written, And whatsoever we ask, we recieve of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment,That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1 John 3:22,23. Also read 1 John 5:14,15.

Faith must be unwaivering and sincere,it should not stand in the wisdom of men. it must be genuine.James 1:6-8. 1 Corinthians 2:5.
2 Timothy 1:5. 1 Timothy 1:5. 1 Peter 1:7.

Yours sincerely

2 effective use of faith Gen 1:1 M.Royal 188331
  Hello Mto,

James 2:18 tells us that faith if it hath not works is dead. This was concerned with how we treat others, namely the poor that are among us,
also known as works of love, or works of faith.

This is in line with Christs command to love one another.

So speak ye and so do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. ( Love one another).

Yours sincerly

  Hello Jeba Suresh Aaron,

The following scriptures are what Christ taught concerning wealth/treasure, I hope they will be of use to you. with regards to verse 4 in conjunction with verse 5.

Matthew 6;19-21,25-34.

"for after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things, but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Yours sincerely

6 I tithe because my church needs it. 1 Cor 16:2 M.Royal 187685
Give freely what you choose to give, as you have been blessed, not out of obligation.

This scripture is not about tithing but as stated in verse 1 it is about ministering to the saints as you see the need, then you help as you can.

7 I tithe because I wont to look like God. Matt 6:33 M.Royal 187683
God is a God of righteousness which when we seek him and do as christ has commanded we become as he is according to his will.

Tithing will not make you like God unless you have been commanded to tithe by him according to the law of Christ.

8 I tithe because it belings to the Lord Rom 3:27 M.Royal 187681
  Hello hpdevane,

May I ask according to which scripture under the law of Christ?
9 Are tithes n offerings required nowadays Hebrews M.Royal 187271
  Hello Eyes4Zion,

Here is some information which I hope will help with the issue of tithing.

Did you know that 'food and drink' or lifes needs was the purpose/concern/reason for tithing?

Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils after being given food and drink (Genesis14:18-20).

Jacob promised to tithe if God would supply food and drink (Genesis 28:15,20-22).

In the law if you thithed and kept all of Gods commandments God promised to supply food and drink ect (Deuteronomy 26:12. Malachi 3:10).

Yes you are right things changed in the new testament.

Jesus promised that if we seek the Kingdom of God that God would supply our needs/food and drink (Matthew 6;31-34).Note this is by faith not by thithing. So if we believe Gods promise are we disrespecting God by expecting through tithing that which is yours by promise?

But Godliness with contentment is great gain.
and having food and raiment let us be therefore content.(1 Timothy 6:6,8.)

The Gospel teaches us not to forget the poor this is know as Ministering/collection for the saints (1 Corinthians 16:1,2). This is not tithing, you are free to put aside whatever you can.

I hope this has been helpful to you.

12 i don't understand colossians Colossians M.Royal 186828
As with Psalm 25, do you have specific scripture/topic you are unsure of?
13 Why do we disagree? 1 Thessalonians M.Royal 186092
  Hi HeirofGod

As you know the word rapture is not in the bible, however the scriptures used for the rapture are your key to help you understand.

1 corinthians 15:51,52. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17.
Matthew 24:29-31 Revelation 10:7.
Revelation 11:15-19. all speak about the day of the Lord and give a specific indication of a trumpet, for the sake of the rapture it is the last/seventh trumpet. Jesus stated in Matthew 24: 29-31 that this takes place after the sun and moon have been darkened, which takes place after the tribulation.

The sun and moon are darkened in Revelation 8:12,13.(4th trumpet)note the next verse (14).

I trust this will be helpful to you, in you quest for understanding last things

Also read Joel 2:1,2,10,30,31.
