  Can Satan read your mind?
2 scripture to back up negative words? Eph 4:27 docandlinda2 225141
Is there any scripture that backs up the fact that we allow satan a stronghold in our lives by words we speak? Or that we should "speak things as if they were"? I can't find anything.
3 the mark of the beast Matt 25:41 docandlinda2 223038
I have read Revelations, but am wondering if you will go to hell. Where is the scripture that backs this up? thanks
4 Why is there weaping in heaven? Rev 21:4 docandlinda2 222950
As stated in Rev 21:4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.

Why will He wiping our tears? Will this be because we will be sorrowful in how much more we could have done for Him while we were on earth or perhaps because we do not see loved ones there? Why do you think we weap in heaven, that He would dry our tears?
5 What is blaspheming the Holy Spirit? Mark 3:29 docandlinda2 210668
In Mark Chapter 3 the bible speaks of blaspheming the Holy Spirit as the unforgivable sin. Does this only mean to speak against the Holy Spirit? or does this mean to reject God's word after you have heard it thus not asking for His Holy Spirit to enter you by first accepting Christ as Savior. What exactly is blaspheming the Holy Spirit?
6 what is it to be an overcomer? Revelation docandlinda2 210494
In Revelation in each of the letters to the churches He tells them they must be overcomers to eat from the tree of life, not be hurt by the second death, give hidden manna and a white stone with a new name written on it, give authority over nations, be dressed in white andnver have their name blotted out of the book of life, make a piller in the temple and the right to sit with Jesus on His throne, but what are they to overcome? We will not be made perfect until they day of Christ Jesus, and will sin, so exactly what to we need to overcome, as it reads to me that if we do not, we will not be with Him in heaven?
7 can salvation be lost? Rev 2:1 docandlinda2 210468
Regarding in Rev 2 vs 1-7 when Jesus speaks about the church in Ephesus, it sounds that He is please with many things they did, but held against them that they had forsaken their first love, telling them to repent or He would remove their lampstand from it's place. He states that he who overcomes will give the right to eat from the tree of life. Do these versus indicate that these folks are saved or not and that their salvation is lost, or that they were never saved?
8 where is the joy of my salvation? Bible general Archive 4 docandlinda2 210240
i have been a Christ follower for many years. I hunger and thirst for His word and love spending time with him. Having said all of that, I seem to have lost my joy. I find that the more I study and learn, the more saddened I become for those who are lost. I even start to doubt my own salvation for in 1 peter 1:8-9 it speaks of loving Him and being filled with inexpressable and glorious joy9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. where is my joy? I have felt the holy spirit working in my life and I am so richly blessed beyond measure, but if I am truly converted and saved would I not exerience more than fleeting moments of joy?
9 the law on eating pork Matt 15:11 docandlinda2 207906
in the old testament Isaiah 66: 15-17 it mentions not to eat pork. Am I reading this correctly that if we eat pork we will be consumed by fire?
Meaning eternal death. Am I incorrect in my interpretation that in the new testament that it was ok? or if i partake that I will burn in hell?
10 where is my joy? John 14:25 docandlinda2 207732
I am a Christian and love the Lord. However the more I seek to know of Him and learn of Him the more the joy of my salvation seems further and further from me. When I see how many of my friends and loved ones call themselves Christians but show no fruits of such as well as take the Lords name in vain or sin without hesitation thinking that because they believe that that is all that is required which I know is not correct. With so many being lost this life seems to hold less joy and it is difficult for me, knowing this, even though it is my prayer for them to come to know the savior to feel sadness in my Christian walk. I pray for God to restore the joy of my salvation, but at this time I am still saddened and burdened by this.
11 What is considered work on the Sabbath? Bible general Archive 4 docandlinda2 206702
Again, I understand we are not under the law, but God does expect us to obey his laws. When He say remember the Sabbath and keep it holy, I feel he wants us to worship, praise, meditate on His word, and honor Him doing all things unto His glory. I spend time on that day in my yard tending to it, enjoying the very thing He causes to florish. But I don't want to dishonor him, if this form of relaxation and appreciation is considered work. Can you shed some light on this? Thank you.
12 which day is the Sabbath, Sat or Sun? Rom 14:5 docandlinda2 206699
what is the answer to the argument of the Sabbath being Saturday or Sunday? It makes sense to me that Saturday is the Sabbath, but I go to church, meditate on Gods word in depth on Sunday. Am I a Sabbath breaker? As God's law says remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Thank you
13 who is truly saved? How can we be sure Bible general Archive 4 docandlinda2 206675
according to scripture you must not only believe but be doers of the word in order to be saved. I know it is not of works that I may do and my faith is in Christ being the only sacrafice needed and fully sufficient for my sins, but if we do our best everyday to walk in His way and follow Him, but still sin, wont we lose our salvation?
