1 How do you define cult? Bible general Archive 2 bstudent 121562
  How do you define cult?
2 God's name or a title? John 1:1 bstudent 120533
Do you distinguish between a name and a title? Cite examples and you will see the distinction.
I'm guessing that the compound names you cite will be either names of places incorporating God's "name" or compound titles related to his attributes or roles/positions (i. e. Grand Instructor, Rock, Almighty God, Sovereign Lord, Creator). Better yet, do a search in a concordance on "name" and you' be amazed how often it appears with YHVH and how infrequently with any titles.

If you're willing to try it, let me know what you conclude.
3 Can Christian's support Caesar's wars? 2 Cor 10:3 bstudent 118346
Does Paul mean that Christians do not engage in carnal warfare? What other Scriptures support the correct view a Christian should have toward secular wars?
4 Who is this "slave"? Matt 24:45 bstudent 118141
I heard scholars of the Jesus Committee studied this verse for 2 years and were unable to determine its meaning. Does anyone know?
5 Did this war already occur? Rev 12:7 bstudent 115989
Did this war already occur or is it yet future? Show your Scriptural reasons for your answer. John said "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." (Rev 1:3) Since we can't "take to heart" what we can't understand, surely the truth can be known.
6 Who cares to discuss this verse? Rom 8:19 bstudent 115508
What is the creation referred to, who are the sons of God it/they eagerly await?
7 How are pre-Christians made perfect? Heb 11:40 bstudent 114624
How will these 'hall-of'famer' be made perfect in connection with those that receive "something better?"
8 What does He 11:39,40 mean? Heb 11:40 bstudent 114608
What "something better" did Paul foresee for himself and other Christians?
