Shalom Kcab, Here is a link that might help you find things quickly in your bible. It is free and almost everyone on SBF uses it. http://www.e-sword.net/bibles.html You can download different versions of the Bible, dictionaries, commentaries, books, etc, etc. There is a search function in the software and also a Nave's Topical Bible that you can download and use. Shalom Kcab, I've been very amiss, not welcoming you to SBF sooner. Bad me!! But I have been grinning ear to ear reading your questions and postings to everyone. They are a refreshing joy. Keep the questions coming, you're keeping us on our toes and best behavior!! Thank you, my dear brother. Cheri |

203 | Is "Paradise" the same as heaven? | Luke 23:43 | skccab | 209017
Hi PP, shalom, I just had to jump in here. Keith Moore DOES sound very good, BUT he is not, (whether he or not he's aware of the deception, I don't know), but some years ago I would have given anything to be able to be a part of Eagle Mt. Tx and all the crew that deals with K. Copeland, that includes Moore. PLEASE, throw your faith out there like a blanket and just accept from someone who was trapped in it for many years - it's NOT what you need, NOT what your King would have for you. He has so much more than what these folk can offer - before you get hooked (and you will) RUN far and fast, straight to the unadulterated Word. Alot of it, you can find right here on SBF from some of the folks who've been here for 7-8 years. Just glory in what is here and leave WOF alone. PLEASE. Cheri |

Shslom Searcher, Thank you so much. I went to the sites and saved them for later. (Get to go back to work this afternoon, a little scary, but very excited! Thank you for asking.) I had tried to google the cities that were being referred to in those passages but that wasn't giving me the full information that I was wanting, just wikipedia stuff. God's day to you Cheri |

206 | how did jesus teach disciples about | Matt 16:19 | skccab | 208918
Shalom bro, Yes, you are well aware of the struggle I went thru just not too long ago, getting rid of all that junk. Many here at SBF struggled with me, whether they knew it or not :-). That stuff grabs hold of your mind and it hangs on tenaciously, for life even when you're trying to get rid of it! God is good. Cheri |

207 | how did jesus teach disciples about | Matt 16:19 | skccab | 208914
Shalom Hank, May I elaborate a little? I may not have it right where Matt1078 is concerned but I think I can explain it. It kinda goes back to the WOF gang. A person gets "saved" like the regular ordinary christian. And that's it, it's just ordinary, nothing special. THEN... baptism in the Holy Ghost, tongues, revelation, insight.... one is now "born again." They're now more than just saved, they're "spiritual" and open to all kinds of new spiritual things that the "regular ordinary pew" christian is blissfully unaware of. Please DON'T think I'm saying that this is right thinking!!!! But this is where I was some 30 years ago, and this thinking is as prevelant today as then. People like to be special, to have knowledge that no one else has, WOF is great at dishing it out, too. Anyway, there you have it, the 2 events, and to people in that mind-set, they are two totally separate events, one hanging from the other and neither complete without the other. If I stepped on any toes, I do apologize, but I was trying to explain the thinking because I came out of that scene lifetimes ago. :-) Cheri |

208 | Thank you to all | Rom 5:3 | skccab | 208905
Shalom sister, Thank you soooo much. Without my brothers and sisters, well, I just don't want to think about what it would have been like!! I've never been sick like that before. But I've found out it's gonna take more 'n' the devil's mischievious chuckle to get this King's kid down :-) We all got a great big Family right here on SBF that knows how to LOVE and PRAY!! I really did perceive the prayers and love. Thank you, Azure, and everyone. Cheri |

210 | Purpose of Tree of LIfe in New Jerusalem | Bible general Archive 4 | skccab | 208228
Morning Val, Worked all last night, just waking up :-) Rev 22:2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Cheri |

Chuck, I know what you mean. To me, this is the hardest question - the fact that it's there is true and therefore must serve some purpose but in my little pea brain, it just don't make any sense. Guess that's why I'm not ruling over the universe, huh? :-) Cheri |

212 | Adam and Eve Perfect or Flawed | 1 Tim 2:11 | skccab | 208202
Shalom Chuck, How are you tonight? Now I have wondered about the tree of life in the New City, but for different reasons; maybe you can help me. If we have glorified bodies and sin has been cast into the lake of fire along with satan, and only the "saved" are present, what do we need the tree of life for, why do the "nations" need to be healed, and healed of what? Can you help me out here? I've wondered about this for a long long time :-) Cheri |

Shalom Steve and all y'all, I had no idea the original question would get so much attention but I'm glad it did. :-) I had mused on it all last night and just couldn't come up with a conclusion on my own. I thank everybody who has joined in the discussion, a lot of really good views to consider. Cheri |

Shalom Steve, Now that's a thought! We don't have a passage with God actually saying that, but I'm sure much was said by Him to many that we don't have recorded. This was just something I was dealing with during my midnight shift. Thank you for offering your thoughts. :-) Cheri |

Shalom John and Azure, Gosh, I'd answered this and lost it!!! Doing really good right about now. You're right John, we can't know what Eve was thinking. You know, I think Azure may have hit the nail on the head. I hadn't thought about a lie needing a motive at all (even though I was dealing with Abram's motive and hers being different), but she really didn't have a motive. Possibly she figured if she could convince herself that just touching would result in death that would help keep her from wanting to eat it - didn't work though, did it? Thanks for the help, both of you, dear sister and dear brother Cheri |

Morning John and howdy Azure again You're right about not knowing what she was thinking, that's for sure. But I think maybe Azure hit the nail on the head. I hadn't thought about that at all - no real motive to lie. And lies generally do have some kind of motive. Perhaps if she thought just touching the fruit would result in death that would help keep her from thinking about eating it - didn't work though did it?? Thanks to both of you, dear sister and brother!! Cheri |

220 | Adam and Eve Perfect or Flawed | 1 Tim 2:11 | skccab | 208126
Shalom and good evening to you I see what you are saying but then we go back to the point that if it isn't true, it's an untruth or a lie. Even a half truth is considered a whole lie (such as when Abram introduced Sarai as his sister which was true up to a point, but still a lie because it wasn't the whole truth). Now possibly Sarai's motive was more innocent than Abram's, but isn't it still a lie? Maybe I'm over-thinking the whole thing :-) Cheri |
