Jesus did exibit angry in that passages. He have the right to be angry, it is the house of his father was made as cave of a thief. Even in our situation do you think we are not going to angry if someone done this to your own home. We can angry but not to sin, the bible said: Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. We have to be agry to those who do not done justice to anyone. God bless, |

731 | How far from Jerus did Jesus ever teach? | Luke 2:41 | jlpangilinan | 36196
Some Entry about Jesus from Easton Bible Dictionary: Je'sus, the proper, as Christ is the official, name of our Lord. To distinguish him from others so called, he is spoken of as "Jesus of Nazareth" (Joh 18:7), and "Jesus the son of Joseph" (Joh 6:42). This is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua, which was originally Hoshea (Nu 13:8,16), but changed by Moses into Jehoshua (Nu 13:16; 1Ch 7:27), or Joshua. After the Exile it assumed the form Jeshua, whence the Greek form Jesus. It was given to our Lord to denote the object of his mission, to save (Mt 1:21). The life of Jesus on earth may be divided into two great periods, (1) that of his private life, till he was about thirty years of age; and (2) that of his public life, which lasted about three years. In the "fulness of time" he was born at Bethlehem, in the reign of the emperor Augustus, of Mary, who was betrothed to Joseph, a carpenter (Mt 1:1; Lu 3:23; comp. Joh 7:42). His birth was announced to the shepherds (Lu 2:8-20). Wise men from the east came to Bethlehem to see him who was born "King of the Jews," bringing gifts with them (Mt 2:1-12). Herod's cruel jealousy led to Joseph's flight into Egypt with Mary and the infant Jesus, where they tarried till the death of this king (Mt 2:13-23), when they returned and settled in Nazareth, in Lower Galilee (Mt 2:23; comp. Lu 4:16; Joh 1:46, etc.). At the age of twelve years he went up to Jerusalem to the Passover with his parents. There, in the temple, "in the midst of the doctors," all that heard him were "astonished at his understanding and answers" (Lu 2:41, etc.). Eighteen years pass, of which we have no record beyond this, that he returned to Nazareth and "increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man" (Lu 2:52). He entered on his public ministry when he was about thirty years of age. It is generally reckoned to have extended to about three years. "Each of these years had peculiar features of its own. (1.) The first year may be called the year of obscurity, both because the records of it which we possess are very scanty, and because he seems during it to have been only slowly emerging into public notice. It was spent for the most part in Judea. (2.) The second year was the year of public favour, during which the country had become thoroughly aware of him; his activity was incessant, and his frame rang through the length and breadth of the land. It was almost wholly passed in Galilee. (3.) The third was the year of opposition, when the public favour ebbed away. His enemies multiplied and assailed him with more and more pertinacity, and at last he fell a victim to their hatred. The first six months of this final year were passed in Galilee, and the last six in other parts of the land.", Stalker's Life of Jesus Christ, p. 45. The only reliable sources of information regarding the life of Christ on earth are the Gospels, which present in historical detail the words and the work of Christ in so many different aspects. (See Christ.) God bless, Johnny |

733 | Holy Spirit or Ghost at Cross? | Luke 3:22 | jlpangilinan | 75646
Lu 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. In this verse, it was explain that God the Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is different Person. It is the same way that the Ghost that Jesus commend to the Father is different from the Holy Spirit. Also when Christ, commanded His apostle to teach all nation He told them to baptize every one in the Name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, meaning this Three Person are different from each other, meaning God the Father is not Jesus and not the Holy Ghost. I hope it would help. God bless, |

736 | is it neccessary to lay hands? | Luke 7:14 | jlpangilinan | 163348
Hand is the instrument of action. Easton Bible Dictionary entry on Hand Called by Galen "the instrument of instruments." It is the symbol of human action (Ps 9:16; Job 9:30; Isa 1:15; 1Ti 2:8). Washing the hands was a symbol of innocence (Ps 26:6; 73:13; Mt 27:24), also of sanctification (1Co 6:11; Isa 51:16; Ps 24:3-4). In Ps 77:2 the correct rendering is, as in the Revised Version, "My hand was stretched out," etc., instead of, as in the Authorized Version, "My sore ran in the night," etc. The right hand denoted the south, and the left the north (Job 23:9; 1Sa 23:19). To give the right hand was a pledge of fidelity (2Ki 10:15; Ezr 10:19); also of submission to the victors (Eze 17:18; Jer 50:15). The right hand was lifted up in taking an oath (Ge 14:22, etc.). The hand is frequently mentioned, particularly the right hand, as a symbol of power and strength (Ps 60:5; Isa 28:2). To kiss the hand is an act of homage (1Ki 19:18; Job 31:27), and to pour water on one's hands is to serve him (2Ki 3:11). The hand of God is the symbol of his power: its being upon one denotes favour (Ezr 7:6,28; Isa 1:25; Lu 1:66, etc.) or punishment (Ex 9:3; Jg 2:15; Ac 13:11, etc.). A position at the right hand was regarded as the chief place of honour and power (Ps 45:9; 80:17; 110:1; Mt 26:64). Hope it would helps. God bless, |

737 | One example of loosing salvation NT | Luke 8:13 | jlpangilinan | 88937
New creature, So do you think that salvation is like a game having it today win tommorow lose in the other day and have it it again the other week. Do you think God is not very precise to know who of those repented will going to back slide and who will continue serving Him. John 10:27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; John 10:28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. John 10:29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. The proble is who is belong to that flock? You? me? the people we think is save but maybe not? Matt 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. When you are saved it is Christ lives in you according to paul. Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Now if Christ lives in you do you think you can backslide or turn around? Do you think you can still be decieve by the devil? Do you think Christ will leave you behind? NOT! Matt 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." God bless, |

739 | How to Pray | Luke 11:1 | jlpangilinan | 163409
Christ taught us how to pray. Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mt 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Sometimes, people really wants something in life, but God provides everything that we really needs in life and how to go to Him. God bless, |
