261 | What happens after death? | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 94112
I believed in paul written that when the Christian died it is fall asleep it is oppose to the believed that there has already as pre judgement. If we believed that there already souls in heaven, John could be a liar in this statement. Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. After death the spirit will go back to God who is created it. Ec 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. I believed that spirit will again meet the body in the second coming of Chrrit. 1Co 15:51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. |

263 | judgement day | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 116957
You are correct that Christ died already for our sins, but we have to repent and received Him as our personal saviour before we can received our salvation. John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. We have to do the Will of His Father, as Christ said those who do the Will of His Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Matt 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. But for those adulterers murderer thier part is in the lake of fire. Rev 21:8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." What will happened are Christ will judge us according to our works, if our name will not found there, our part will be in the lake of fire which is the second death. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Rev 20:14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. God bless, |

264 | Holy Spirit | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 73122
The Holy Spirit is there even in the very start of creation. Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Christ can heal because He is God, He created everything and He is life. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. He is the Way the Truth and the Life" John 14:6 Quote" yet the blind man was able to see eventhough the Holy Spirit was not made available at that time until the day of apentecost." It is God who kill and heal, it is the Father the Son and Holy Spirit De 32:39 ¶ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. So it wrong to say that the Holy Spirit is not available. He is there even in the very start of creation. God bless, |

265 | Some people say thousand of years past | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 76379
Biblicaly speaking it was the first day. Ge 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Ge 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. But how do we know, how long is that one day, is that one day of our present day count? 2Pe 3:8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. His day could be thousand years for us, but how do we know. God bless, |

266 | Please explain the Trinity | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 77343
Among those three who is the most powerful are the equal in power? Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: it was written that 1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1Co 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. Kindly read this passges it is stated that Christ after all things subdued unto Christ He subject himself to God the Father, its mean God the father is powerful than He is. 1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Christ also said that the Father is greater tham He is: oh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 267 | Please explain the Trinity | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 77417
Quote "No, what it means is that the Son is obedient to the Father, which is not anti-Trinitarian at all. The doctrine of the Trinity states that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. It says nothing about the roles that the three Persons have in relationship to each other." end of quote. Joe, you said they are equal but Christ said they are not equal. Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. you are right christ is obedient to the Father, aside from that He accepted that "neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him." Christ is the one send by the Father. God bless, |

271 | how many crowns are ther | Gen 1:26 | jlpangilinan | 23604
Lovinggod, The apostles speak of the incorruptible crown, the crown of life (Jas 1:12; Re 2:10) "that fadeth not away" (1Pe 5:4, Gr. amarantinos; comp. 1Pe 1:4). Probably the word "amaranth" was applied to flowers we call "everlasting," the "immortal amaranth." Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. The crown of life is to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven forever and ever Amen. I hope it would helps God bless, Johnny |

272 | Where is the Loving God???? | Gen 1:26 | jlpangilinan | 59499
God is love, this is the reason why He created us to share with His glory. There are people that really dont want to believed that Gos is love. For those who dont want to believed they have a lot of reason for themselves not to believed. God created us in His own image! God is a complete God even without us! but He created us to share with his glory. When God created us, He created us with power over dominion all over the eart, the sickness and other sufferrings is not included when He created us. Ge 1:26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. When God created heavens and earth and us, the sufferings is not there only good things. 1:31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. But when man commit disobedience the sufferrings comes Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Ge 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. This world is full of sufferings because the god of this world is evil 2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. We have to go out of this world: 1Co 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. God love us more than the angels, if we realize when satan fall God never sent His son to save them, but when man fall He sent His begotten Son to save us. The happinnes that promises to us christian is not in this world, but it will happen just wait: Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 274 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 100957
He will not grown old if he did not eat the forbidden fruit. He will live forever if He did not fell. God created adam in His own images and likeness. Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. The sickness and death only came in after the fell. Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Ge 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 16. Easton Torrey Ge 3:17 ¶ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; After the fell of man the sickness and death comes in this is the reason why God drove them away from eden because if they eat the tree of life they will leave forever. God knew that if they leave forever with sickness it is very hard. Imagine if you have cancer and live for eternity Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: God bless, |

275 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 101129
They dont need to eat that because it is forbidden but because of temptation of satan and maybe because they want to be gods as satan said. Ge 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Ge 3:6 ¶ And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. That the first sin they committed disobedience. God bless, |

276 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 101206
Because of the temptation of satan and the heart of adam and eve was greedy they listen to satan instead to the creator. They can eat that why not but they probably get more attention to be gods (as satan tell them) instead of the tree of life. After disobedience the sickness and death comes in. God drove them away from eden so cannot touch the tree of life. Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: God knew that if they eat the tree of life and live forever but having sickness its very hard to man to live, for example having a cancer and live forever is very fatal. What happened in eden is almost the same of what happening in peoples life today, instead of keeping attention to Christ which is the life, Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. we keep our attention to worldly things which bring us to death. God bless, |

277 | What does God say on birth control? | Gen 1:28 | jlpangilinan | 126187
The Bible silent in Birth control Ge 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Ge 9:1 ¶ And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Those two verses always came out if somebody will discuss birth control. But as you can see they given to Adam and eve, Noah and his sons. In the time of adam, they were only two human being in earth the time. That commandments are very applicable to them, the same in the time of noah, they are only 8 souls survive the flood, again the commandments are very applicable and specific only for them. How can we make sure that those verse is only for them? There are commandments in the Bible that given in general, there are also commandments that given specifically. For example when God give commandments to Noah to build the ark it is very sure that commandments is not for us.The same with the commandments of "multiply" If we consider that all commandments in the Bible are given in general, we also must build ark for example. Birth control are the problem the our country has, (Philippines) we have many countrymen live below poberty lines. hundred thousand if not Million live in smokey mountain (garbage mountain) but then the survey results that most families live there has at least 7 or eight children. When our garbage mountain collaps because of the rain, hundreds died. Do we think, "multiply still applicable today? NO. If have children but you cannot provide them the things they need, you sin against the Lord. 2Co 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 280 | CHAPTER 6 LORD SAID AND 9 GOD SAID | Gen 2:3 | jlpangilinan | 27678
Easton Bible Dictionay Entry: Lord There are various Hebrew and Greek words so rendered. (1.) Heb Jehovah, has been rendered in the English Bible LORD, printed in small capitals. This is the proper name of the God of the Hebrews. The form "Jehovah" is retained only in Ex 6:3; Ps 83:18; Isa 12:2; 26:4, both in the Authorized and the Revised Version. God (A.S. and Dutch God; DA Gud; Ger. Gott), the name of the Divine Being. It is the rendering (1) of the Hebrew 'El, from a word meaning to be strong; (2) of 'Eloah, plural 'Elohim. The singular form, Eloah, is used only in poetry. The plural form is more commonly used in all parts of the Bible, The Hebrew word Jehovah (q.v.), the only other word generally employed to denote the Supreme Being, is uniformly rendered in the Authorized Version by "LORD," printed in small capitals. The existence of God is taken for granted in the Bible. There is nowhere any argument to prove it. He who disbelieves this truth is spoken of as one devoid of understanding (Ps 14:1). The arguments generally adduced by theologians in proof of the being of God are: (1.) The a priori argument, which is the testimony afforded by reason. (2.) The a posteriori argument, by which we proceed logically from the facts of experience to causes. These arguments are, (a) The cosmological, by which it is proved that there must be a First Cause of all things, for every effect must have a cause. (b) The teleological, or the argument from design. We see everywhere the operations of an intelligent Cause in nature. (c) The moral argument, called also the anthropological argument, based on the moral consciousness and the history of mankind, which exhibits a moral order and purpose which can only be explained on the supposition of the existence of God. Conscience and human history testify that "verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth." The attributes of God are set forth in order by Moses in Ex 34:6-7. (see also De 6:4; 10:17; Nu 16:22; Ex 15:11; 33:19; Isa 44:6; Hab 3:6; Ps 102:26; Job 34:12.) They are also systematically classified in Re 5:12; 7:12. God's attributes are spoken of by some as absolute, i.e., such as belong to his essence as Jehovah, Jah, etc.; and relative, i.e., such as are ascribed to him with relation to his creatures. Others distinguish them into communicable, i.e., those which can be imparted in degree to his creatures: goodness, holiness, wisdom, etc.; and incommunicable, which cannot be so imparted: independence, immutability, immensity, and eternity. They are by some also divided into natural attributes, eternity, immensity, etc.; and moral, holiness, goodness, etc. Seven This number occurs frequently in Scripture, and in such connections as lead to the supposition that it has some typical meaning. On the seventh day God rested, and hallowed it (Ge 2:2-3). The division of time into weeks of seven days each accounts for many instances of the occurrence of this number. This number has been called the symbol of perfection, and also the symbol of rest. "Jacob's seven years' service to Laban; Pharaoh's seven fat oxen and seven lean ones; the seven branches of the golden candlestick; the seven trumpets and the seven priests who sounded them; the seven days' siege of Jericho; the seven churches, seven spirits, seven stars, seven seals, seven vials, and many others, sufficiently prove the importance of this sacred number" (see Le 25:4; 1Sa 2:5; Ps 12:6; 79:12; Pr 26:16; Isa 4:1; Mt 18:21-22; Lu 17:4). The feast of Passover (Ex 12:15-16), the feast of Weeks (De 16:9), of Tabernacles (De 13:15), and the Jubilee (Le 25:8), were all ordered by seven. Seven is the number of sacrifice (2Ch 29:21; Job 42:8), of purification and consecration (Le 27:34,34; 8:11,33; 14:9,51), of forgiveness (Mt 18:21-22; Lu 17:4), of reward (De 28:7; 1Sa 2:5), and of punishment (Le 26:21,24,28; De 28:25). It is used for any round number in such passages as Job 5:19; Pr 26:16,25; Isa 4:1; Mt 12:45. It is used also to mean "abundantly" (Ge 4:15,24; Le 26:24; Ps 79:12). |
