141 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188218
Hi Cheri, Thank you, your points have been noted. So far no-one has supplied any scriptures for the rapture that do not relate the day of the Lord/second coming, with notice to what Jesus taught the apostles, Matthew 24:29-31 where Jesus uses the terms "immediately after" "and then" to show an order of things. Neither Christ or the apostles have taught otherwise, however some scpiptures will give you a bigger picture of events and some in brief. ie when Jesus talks about the sun and moon being darkened it is a very shortened version of events which is explained further in Revelation 8:12,13. which gives you further links to the order of thing to come. Hope this is helpful to you Yours Sincerely M.Royal |

142 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188233
Hello Ebrain, The scriptures used for the rapture show/state that it takes place at the "last trumpet" 1 Cor. 15:51,52. It is written that the day of the Lord is a "day of the trumpet" Zeph.1:14-18. Jesus said that when he returns "he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet" Matthew 24:29-31. In Isaiah 27:13. it is written: And it shall come to pass in that day that the great trumpet shall be blown. These are just a few scriptures referring the sounding of a trumpet, now if they are not all the same event, then one thing is sure, the rapture takes place after the day of the Lord, as it is the "last trumpet" Please have a look at Rev.11:15, which is the 7th/last trumpet. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

143 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188234
Hi Mark, Thanks for the scriptures, from what is written the rapture takes place at the last trumpet. If therefore it is not the same event as the day of the Lord which is "the day of the trumpet" then the rapture must take place after the day of the Lord as it is at the last trumpet. There are more scriptures available if necessary. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

144 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188236
Hi Kalos, Thanks for your notes. I have read 2 Thess.2:7. and in context with verse 3 which states Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the coming of our Lord and by our gathering together unto him) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that the man of sin be revealed, the man of perdition. Now although no man can as such stop Jesus from coming however Jesus sais in Matthew 24:34,35. "this generation shall not pass 'till all these things are fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. All that Jesus has said must be fulfilled before he returns, all must be fulfilled as he has stated. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

All that belive, remember this was a parable Luke 14:15-24. 3. Overcomers Rev.7:9,13,14. Rev.15:1,2. Clothed in white. 4. Those that worshiped the antichrist/beast Rev.13:14-17. 146 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188274
Hello John, Although we Jesus and the apostles taught about Christs return, there is no where written that it take place before the tribulation, even Rev.20:4.; the first ressurection takes place after the antichrist has reigned, and the next one is after the thousand year reign of Christ. So far the scriptures and Christ point to his return after the tribulation. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

147 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188328
Hello John, Before we get to the wrath of God, it must be understood that the antichrists/beast must be revealed and reign, and decieve, and also overcome the saints Rev.13:. it is because of the ac/beasts reign that Gods wrath is promised on thos that have worshiped the ac/beast Rev. 14:9-12. Unless this is fulfilled the first ressurection cannot take place Rev. 20:4, as it includes those that were afflicted/killed during the reign of the ac/beast. This is the affliction/tribulation of the saints as taught by Jesus Matthew 24:5,9-13. Rev. 13:7,15. this is not the wrath of God. The following scriptures will be fulfilled before the first ressurection Rev. 14:12,13. Rev. 6:9-11. I hope this helps in the understanding of the order of events to come If you need more let me know. M.Royal |

148 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188360
Hi Cheri, The 24 Elders, along with the angels and the four beasts are round about the throne of God. They are there to give information, instruction and to worship God and Christ. Rev.4:4,10,11. Rev.5:5,11,12. Rev.7:13,14. Rev.14:3. They are not the 144000, or those that came out of the great tribulation. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

149 | Are there any scriptures for the rapture | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188388
Hi Cheri, The number of the elders is as it is stated 24, this which is plain to see is not 144.000, nor is it the great multitude that came out of the tribulation. In the vision the elders and and the angels both gave information or intruction as to what was taking place in order for John to understand so that he could reveal to us what he had seen. According to the vision, as well as the four beasts, and the angels they are only seen round about the throne. only what was necessary for John to know was revealed to him and that was concerning the earth and the people thereon, ie the 144,000, those that came out of the tribulation, the wrath of God on those that woshiped the antichrist, the joy of the overcomers at the end in heaven. What we have is as far as the vision went so if it was not important for us to know we do not have it. Hope this helps. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

150 | How can we comfort one another? | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188449
Hello John, It is written, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the shout of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Thess.4:16,17. However if at the rapture Christ is expected to leave part of his church behind to suffer affliction, or see tribulation, ie the great multitude and the 144,000 that as we know will be in heaven, how can we comfort one another with these words, unless we are sure which part of Christs church are to go first? 152 | How can we comfort one another? | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188500
Hello Searcher, In answer to you questions please note the following. Hurt not the earth neither the sea nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads Rev.7:3 They were saved before the tribulation. Jesus clearly states that his return is after the tribulation, this is the second resurrection Matthew 24:27-31. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of christ, and reign with him a thousand years. Rev. 20:6. Hope this answers your questions, if you need more let me know. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

Hi Kalos, from the revelation commentary, would you say that those killed by the antichrist are those seen on the sea of glass that came out of tribulation (Rev.7:9-17. rev. 15:1,2.) since they are the church age? Thanks M.Royal |

156 | The better side of what? | Rev 6:11 | M.Royal | 188639
Hello Gods elect, If Christ comes for his church at the rapture, before or mid tribulation, wether it is at the hands of the antichrist or the wrath of God, Jesus must leave some of his church behind. We know that the 144,000 are part of the church and are here during both the reign of the antichrist and during the wrath of God. We also know that the great multitude on the sea of glass are also part of the church, came out of great tribulation, by overcoming the the antichrist (killed because they did not worship the beast). All that worship the beast will go to hell as they refuse to repent and their names are not in the book of life. It is not a case of wether or not God can forgive, but that they wiilnot repent of their sins. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

157 | The better side of what? | Rev 6:11 | M.Royal | 188641
Hello John, It is clearly written that during the wrath of God being poured out no-one repents of their sins. So no matter how much we we know about Gods grace unless they repent God will not forgive. Unfortunatly all that worship the beast will go to hell along with the beast and the antichrst and satan and his angels. This is what is written and we cannot change the prophecy of Christ. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

158 | The better side of what? | Rev 6:11 | M.Royal | 188678
Dear John, All that belong to God through Christ are members of his body, all that are members of the body of Christ are his church. salvation can only be obtained through Jesus by repentance, without which there can be no salvation. Knowing that after the church has gone there will be no-one repenting or accepting Jesus, as it is written they "refuse to repent" and accept Christ the head of the church. So yes it is written that we who belong to God through Christ are the church. Please note the following; James 1:18. Col. 1:15,18. 1 Cor. 15:20-23. Eph. 4:15,16. Eph. 5:23,24. Hope this helps to clarify things, if more info needed let me know. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

159 | The better side of what? | Rev 6:11 | M.Royal | 188679
Hi kalos, If the rapture takes place before the antichrist has reigned or the wrath of God is being pourd out, then since Christ has taken his church away then the only ones left to face the antichrist are unbelievers. which as it is written will not repent therefore where do those that came out of the tribulation come from? and what about the 144,000 who are sealed and protected as they went through Gods wrath being poured out? Yours sincerely M.Royal |

Hello John, My questions have been no different to to others regarding this subject. I have honestly answered questions as to what I belive with the bible refereces to afirm. This as far as I was aware is what this forum is about, insuring that we are edified according to the word and not just on the word of man, which if you can show where I have put my thoughts before the word of God then please give me an example. If my aim is that we are aware of what is written has nothing to do with salvation, then again please give me an example. Your sincerely M.Royal |
