what I'd like to conclude here is that Moses only feared death (not necessarily that God was going to kill him) if he didn't do what he was told. I conclude that God gave Moses another opportunity to obey him and he obeyed. | ||||||

God's day to you, yburnette, and welcome to the SBF, It is not harsh, God demands perfection. I think of this of being perfect, that is obeying God always, except for one time. That one sin would keep us out of Heaven. Moses disobeyed, this once, at least ... so he didn't get to enter the Promised Land. All the others did sin more, but God doesn't grade on a curve. God demands perfection. Joshua and Caleb were exceptions. Searcher |
