Second Part of a Two Part Message Hebrews 10:5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. That is why Jesus says in the following verse, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. When Jesus died on the cross He actually died twice. He died spiritually and when His work was finished he died physically. Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus had “never” experienced “separation” from The Father; It was the most painful thing that he had been through in the whole crucifixion and he SCREAMED out. 2 Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. After Jesus had accomplished His work on the cross for our sins He made the following statement and then died physically. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. The work for mans salvation had been completed. Acts 20:28 (B) among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He (God) purchased with His own blood. (Jesus) This might not clear up the Trinity for you entirely but I sure hope it helps. Have a great day, CDBJ |
