Well that is an interesting question. We have to take it on faith the God inspired the church fathers to close the Cannon for the New Testament. One of the perquisites of the Cannon was the person had to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ or report from an eye witness to the accounts. Since there are no more Apostles of Jesus or any eyewitnesses left there can not be any additions. What can we expect when Jesus comes, I have no idea. That would be like telling the future and God hasn’t shown me anything. EdB |

Who specifically closed the canon of scripture? I always thought that it was the Catholic Church, but I could be way off here. What specific church fathers are you referring to? What are their names? | ||||||
