Angel, I was kinda thinking the sky is the limit. As long as it was a reputable source, historical, concordance, lexicon, etc... In love, Mike |

Hi, Mike! I am not seeking to complicate the study... it's just that in the past I had a few study partners that would seek to divorse the study material from the rest of the Bible... though I am not a scholar, I do believe that we can only see the total meaning of the Scriptures when viewed in the light of the complete Bible: God does not change and His Word is both eternal and transcendent... we cannot pick and choose but accept Him as He revealed Himself! God Bless! Angel |

Angel I totally agree that yoou always need to study individual portions of the Bible in the light of the rest of the Bible, however I have found sometimes some historical info can be benificial to gaining additional understanding of some scriptures, and sometimes you have to look in different books of the Bible just to gain a context for a specific scripture... Anyways, lets just do it and we can deal with issues as they arise, otheerwise we will spend a week just triing to figure out how it should be done. In other words I'm excited to dive in and and sink my teeth into some meat of the Word...... Much love Mike |
