In regard to baptism in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, try "The Great Commission" in Matthew 28:19-20. As far as question #1 is concerned, there are examples in the book of Acts where people received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, Acts 2:4, 10:44-48, 19:6. There are also some examples that don't mention whether they spoke in tongues or not, Acts 8:14-17. Also in Acts 9:17-18, Ananius layed hands on Paul and he received the Holy Spirit without mentioning him speaking in tongues. But in 1 Cor. 14:18, Paul thanks God that he speaks in tongues more than the rest of them. Submitted in Love |

I appreciate your help. But I need examples of baptism in the name of Father Son and Holy Ghost. You guys just don't understand. This girl is a bible scholar. If I go to her with the great comission she will tell me the same thing she told me last time. "Show me where they were baptized in any other name besides Jesus." | ||||||
