1 | Matthew talked about JC as a Jew - why? | NT general Archive 1 | mitelt | 109286 | ||
Peace to all. I just wondered if anyone noticed that mastery only used the JC reference in the short form of the question. Leaving the rest of the statement as is, you cannot replace JC with Jesus without exceeding the 40 character limit. Might I suggest that instead of concerning ourselves with How a Question is asked we concentrate on the Question and continue to study the Bible. I personally did not find the phrasing offensive. I think I just automatically read it as 'Jesus Christ'. It is the rest of the thread that I find offensive. Rom 15:5-7 (NKJV) Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. |

Mitelt: You have a vaild practical piont to ponder, if that was the true reasoning. My real issue came when "Clinzey" chimed in to say it was perfectly ok to use those initals rather than Jesus Christ. I found that unacceptable under all circunstances. Do you understand where I am coming from? Blessings. justme |
