Peace to all. I just wondered if anyone noticed that mastery only used the JC reference in the short form of the question. Leaving the rest of the statement as is, you cannot replace JC with Jesus without exceeding the 40 character limit. Might I suggest that instead of concerning ourselves with How a Question is asked we concentrate on the Question and continue to study the Bible. I personally did not find the phrasing offensive. I think I just automatically read it as 'Jesus Christ'. It is the rest of the thread that I find offensive. Rom 15:5-7 (NKJV) Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. |

Peace to you! "You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be sanctified among the sons of Israel; I am the LORD who sanctifies you," Lev 22:32 I believe that we must take great care in how we express our Lord's name to others. Also, it is offensive to me, to see God's name abbreviated or in lower case letters. What it boils down to, in my opinion is this: if we desire to reverence God, we CAN. By abbreviating Matthew to Mt, the question Mastery posted could have spelled out Jesus Christ. Just an observation to consider. Blessings, mommapbs Ez 39:7 Mal 2:5 |
