What does Mormonism teach? ____________________ 'They teach there was an apostasy ' ____________________ 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon church, teaches doctrines in direct opposition to historic Christianity, yet it claims to be the true church of Jesus Christ. Where exactly does Scripture say that the Bible is incomplete? John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they *were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself *would not contain the books that *would be written. Where are these 'other' works called Scripture? Why would the apostles use anything else? |

Greetings Gbennet76! Not including every detail is different from being incomplete! :-) The 'works' you mentioned were used by more than just the apostles, but I can think of many reasons. Paul mentioned a Greek poem as a sermon illustration in his sermon on Mars Hill, does that make it Scripture? ;-) One could refer to historial records or other works for many different reasons, but that doesn't make them Scripture. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
