1 | Need more clarification | Bible general Archive 1 | abraham | 71766 | ||
On earth, of course, there is a difference between the temple and wherever else, but not likely in Heaven. It can be said that whole Heaven, where the glory of God is filled without shadow of the Light from God, is the temple, where God is. In biblical respect, there are those who is recorded to have gone to Heaven, especially without experiencing death, such as Enoch and Eliajah. That should be considered very someting special throughout Bible and history. More in general, no one has gone to the Heaven. Only Jesus, who is one who came from there, had gone there after his resurrection. Those who believe in Christ are merely promised to go there in the future when Jesus will welcom. That is all I think and believe. Abraham |

Thankyou for your response. This helps clarify my question about whether the temple in heaven is all of heaven. Regarding the second part of your answer that no one has gone to Heaven I thought that to be absent in the body was to be present with Christ according to the Bible. Where do Christians temporarily go while waiting for their glorified bodies if not Heaven? There's probably an obvious answer but I haven't studied the subject that much. Are you a messianic Jew? Thankyou for your help. Chusarcik |

I'm so happy to hear your reply that my answer was help to clarify your mind. In fact, I,m not Jew, but just one who has been seeking to know truth through Bible from my student's years at University. Accordingly, I have had many of accasions to answer various questions from those who were aquaintant with me like frineds and youngers. To your re-quested issue, I am not sure where those who died are right now untill arriving in the ultimate destination, Heavenly nation. I was also once questioned about that, and, as a result, I had a answer to meet myself. Bible says about somewhere else not belonged to earth or heaven. Those are like hell(Lk16:23), paradise(Lk23:43), Abyss(Rev20:3), and the sea(Rev20:13). In addition, it is evident that Bible does not tell us detailed story about the issue even if most of the seekers may well feel puzzling. Basically, It is essential to have a faith that Bible is written by God's Spirit so it has a fullness of truth enough to enlighten our mind and to save our soul. We are to feel free to ask questions, but those should be confined to get ourselves more deeply understood and for us to draw nearer to God. Otherwise, the effort to know God might be taken advantage of by Satan who diligently attemts to kill us. Thanks |
