BOTH TESTAMENTS ARE ONGOING OLD AND NEW ONLY MEAN OLD COVENANT AND NEW COVENANT. OLD PROMISES AND NEW PROMISES. THE PART THAT MAKES THE CHANGE IS CALVERY. JESUS AT CALVERY TOOK AWAY THE CURSE OF THE LAW SUCH AS THE SACRIFICES. BUT HE DID NOT TAKE AWAY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW. WE STILL HAVE TO OBEY THE OLD TESTAMENT. I PREFER CALLING IT THE FIRST TESTAMENT AND THE SECOND TESTAMENT. ALL OF THE SECOND TESTAMENT TEACHINGS ARE BASED ON THE FIRST TESTAMENT. YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND HEBREWS IF YOU DON'T KNOW OR UNDERSTAND LEVITICUS. THE FIRST BOOK OF THE SECOND TESTAMENT REFER YOU BACK TO THE FIRST TESTAMENT. | ||||||
