Worried? Do I write is such a way that it sounds as though I am worried? My objective is to examine the Holy Word of God that God has seen fit to leave us. And to search it with that hopeful expectation that whatever it is that God Himself is trying to reveal to us through the word, that I might be found in the blessed state of having read and heard and kept what was written therein.
3 | I'm not worried about the end, are you? | Rev 7:4 | JIML | 118174
I have to agree with both statements. On the one hand, we must put our COMPLETE trust in God (which is foremost). He will work everything out to his praise while using us in any why he chooses to accomplish his purpose, and us finding joy in doing so. So worrying is of no benefit, if one is worried about it. One the other hand, God does not want us to be ingnorant to His word and the working of the Spirit. Rev 1:3 says,"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it;for the time is near." Scribe, keep up the pace in your endeavour to dig deeper into Gods word and your reliance on the Holy Spirit. As long as we stick with Gods word and not take away or add to it, "Blessed" we will be as He promises. God Bless! |
