RC, I am interested in hearing more. I do not have the answer to your question above, but I have always wondered about the Matt 24 and the corresponding Mark and Luke passages. It looked to me like it was talking about the destruction of Israel and the temple as well, but I couldn't make sense of the Son of Man coming. How does the coming of the Son of Man fit in? jamison |

Well most people Believe this to be the rapture but its not its the parousia in greek or presence. The Disciples were familuar with Old Testament analogies. Such as Gods Judgement being seen by clouds in the air. When 70 AD rolled aorund they perieved that The Coming of Christ had happened. They did not see Jesus, they knew He was there because of the Old Testament analogies. Now we are waiting until the end of time for the Rapture of all people to be Judged. Matt 24 was fulfilled in 70 AD. Remember that the disciples asked Jesus about temple which was standing in 30 AD as they talked to Him. Not a futureistic Temple. And the Temple they talked about was indeed destroyed along with the Jewish Religion in 70 AD. Remember Daniels prophecy that the sacrifice shall Cease in chp 9. Its over for Israel. Christ even told the fig tree that it wont produce fruit forever. He meant forever. The Fig tree is a Biblical Representative for Israel. Deut 8:7-8 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; He GOD used the fig tree as a way to let Israel know if they were being Blessed or cursed by whether or not there figs were growing or not. Jer 5:17 And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword. Thanks RC love in Christ Jesus. History records all these facts and this point of view for 2 thousand yrs. Pre Trib has only been taught since its invention in 1830 AD. |

OK, I am with you so far. Like I said before, I thought it had to do with the destruction of the temple, but couldn't grasp the coming of the Son of Man. I have not looked any further into what you have proposed, but it seems plausible. Now for The Revelation, do you contend that this has ALL happened already, or that some is still to come? If more is to come, is there a break in the book between past and present. For example, everything before chapter 18 is past and 19-22 are future or whatever. jamison |

We are in the Millenial Kingdom now Look at Rev 20 vs 4 The souls are still remaining in the heavenly Jerusalem no, until the Judgement when Satan is loosed a little season. We are in the middle of chp 20 right now between vs 10 and 11. Christ is our King now Satan has been bound back in 70AD. This view has been around since 66 AD there are hundreds of writings of this. Compared to Dispensationalism which there are only and thats maybe 2 people throut Hiistory until 1830 AD when they made this new doctrine of it still being future. Its funny when you realize that the Church was always past tense on this until Pre millenilism came out in 1830. They really believe that they are correct but they are severly wrong. God Bless. Remember that Christ saw Satan falling from Heaven in 30 AD as lightning. And there is also the Saints being ressurected after Christ ressurection. Its in the Bible. Remeber that the Bible is its own best interpreter. If you are looking to the Future you become Subject to what ever someone says. Also if you look at the Dating of Revelation , they say in Domitians Time 90 to 100 AD. Its been proven that it was written before 65AD probably 63 AD. I can show you plenty of mistakes for the 90 AD theory. And why it was written in 63 AD. This dating creates a servere problem in mosts Eschatology. In Christ Jesus. |

Dear Jamison: An astute observation: Millennial means only one thing, 1,000! |
