Kalos You tell of a tragedy. To think in some countries the Word is so precious people pass around just verses or chapters. They hunger so for the Living Word, yet we like the Laodiceans are rich and have need of nothing. I think the real tragedy is while 65 percent claim to be reading the Bible, you find they are counting the time in church. I would imagine less than 10 percent have ever read the whole Bible. I wonder how many on this forum could honestly say they have read the entire Bible. EdB |

Kalos I suspect most that have read the Bible believe it. I find non believers usually claim to have read the Bible but in fact never have. I once heard a man say only about 65 percent of the people in church are authentic Christians. This shocked me. I then began my own survey (nothing very scientific) and asked Pastors across the land what they thought the number to be. The consensus was about 10 to 20 percent were actually authentic Christians. Pretty scary thought! That was my basis for throwing out the 10 percent number. Blessing to you EdB |
