1 | Biblical - women preachers/teachers??? | 1 Tim 2:12 | Hank | 123645
Dear gods servant: Wouldn't "God's servant" be better? ....... Are you saying that God chooses "the best tool for the job"? Never in Holy Writ have I come across anything suggestive of God's calling human beings tools nor any hint that women have replaced men as "tools" of choice for preaching and teaching. Where did you get your ideas about this issue? If you got them from Scripture, please prove it; and if from your stockpile of personal opinion, please say so. ....... I couldn't help seeing humor in your term, "Visa versa," and wondered whether it was a reference to a poetic credit card. :-) --Hank

Yes Gods sevant would be better, sorry, is there a way to change that or is it to late? I only used the saying the best tool for the job because it was something i had been taught in regards to working on cars that sayed what i couldnt explain in different terms not Because God was refered to us as tools. as for where i get my ideas from this issue i gave my scripture based ideas in a note in response to Angel's note. Some may be tainted by my own personal opinions and opinions of others as well as by things ive experienced, for instance when i was growing up my church had 2 retired pasters in the congregation but when the pastor was at pastor retereats or whatever he would often aask my mom to preach and everybody was happy with her preaching even the 2 retired pastors were content to learn from my mom who could go into more detail about women in preaching/teaching positions better than i can. Visa versa was a spelling mistake, im not the best speller
