Hello mrmichael, Welcome to the Forum! To answer your question, I can think of the Laws of Social Order, specifically Lev. 19:18: "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD." It is also in the "Golden Rule" found in Matt. 7:12: "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets." (This is rephrased in Matt. 22:39-40 and repeated by Paul in Gal. 5:14) You have the general admonition as in Phil. 2:4: "do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." There is even the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:30-37. This illustrates the principle behind your question very well. I trust this will be of help to you:-) BradK |
