1 | Should a Christian be a Mason? | Gal 1:6 | Makarios | 8832
A friend of mine joined the local Lion's club and I noticed that several of the fellow members are Masons. My friend is a Christian man and attends a church. Is it okay for a Christian to become a Mason? I'm not talking about 'bricklayers'. :)

Nolan ... NO - Freemasons are members of a cult. They preach another gospel (Gal. 1:6ff) 1. The Bible is only a piece of furniture. But other books like the Pentateuch, Koran and Vedas. Masonary is based on the Kabala (Cabala), a medieval book of mysticism and magic, not the Bible. 2. God is described as Grand Artificer, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge Above, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, or Great Geometer. 3. Masons believe that Jesus Christ is a created being, and that He is the brother of Satan ... and we know that is not true. 4. Masons think that any "shortcomings" (what we call sin) can be overcome by greater enlightenment ... they deny the reality of sin. 5. So salvation isneeded and think that salvation refers to being brought from the material to the spiritual; i.e., when man returns to "his forgotten inherent spirituality."
