I think the real discussion on divorce we have to ask is it okay to break a vow made to God? Deuteronomy 23:21 (NASB) 21 "When you make a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for it would be sin in you, and the LORD your God will surely require it of you. In a marriage we make a vow to our spouse, to the witnesses and to God to remain married until death parts us. Jesus said there is one exception, adultery on the part of one of the members of the marriage. At that point the vow was broken |
