hello charris me again just to raise a few quiries of this statement 1 corin 11:26 says as oft as we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim the Lords death till he comes.i want to do this as much as possible. dont you? The word proclaim means to announce or cry out. cry out what? The Good news! here is also a point why stop strangers in partaking of the proclaiming of the Good news.also Children they need to know . the Bible says if we teach our children when they are young the will not depart when they are older, the Word is nigh thee and even in thy mouth. i guess you have not seen the pass over eaten in a traditional way ,all the family eats as well as strangers, if they believed ,ie,had to be cicumcised, exodus 12:48. all the children ate and all the family verse 26.but this is law.We are not under the law.We have a new covenant.so it is just a thought.YIC

The communion is passover, for us. As oft as we eat this bread and drink this cup ,we proclaim the Lords death. The Blood of the Lamb! Verse 18 is the start of a rebuke in chapter 11 and in context is talking about comming together as a church. The Question must be asked, what does communion represent? why was instituted.? How does it effect us now? and Where is Jesus in this? Have you not ever wondered why the servings are so small? This rebuke in corin 11 has alot to do with it. Bless you.YIC
