2 | Baptized into his death | Rom 6:3 | lookinforacity | 204031
Hi Pattii; When we are baptised,we are putting on Christ. In baptism, we are identifying with His Death, and then when we come up out of the water, we are Identifying with His Resurrection. We are then Born Again, in Newness of life, we are new creatures in Christ. 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Rom 6:4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. Col 2:12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 1 Pet 3:21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you--not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience--through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I hope that answers it for you. Have a happy!! |

Hi this is Tamara, kinda jumping in here as I saw this in unaswered questions... Were you trying to reply back to someone? I kept getting confused and didn't put note, try to remember to put note, when replying to folks, your note even though it probably got to the right party ended up in unaswered questions. God bless, Tamara
