1 | Jesus has two nature but yet he is one. | John 4:24 | sonnex | 163166 | ||
Thank you for your direct answer. But what can you say about the following verses that seems prop up questions about the death of His diety: Acts 20:28 - God has a blood 1Cor. 2:8 - the Lord of Glory is crucified Romans 9:5 - God has a human ancestry Col. 1:18 - one with fullness of deity has been dead John 1:3 - the baby born of Mary is the Creator. Jesus has two nature but he is in one person. This two nature can not be separated. Am I right? |

In Acts 20:28 "His own blood" literally is "the blood of His own (dear) one" ... which refers to Jesus Christ and His sacrifice as a human. Yes, He is the Lord of Glory and is contrasted with His death, as a human (1 Cor 2:8). He never lost being the Lord of Glory when he died as a human and our sacrifice. Matthew 1:1-16 and Romas 1:3 show that Jesus had human ancestry ... and Mary, a human, was His mother (Luke 1:26-35, 2:7 and more). Romans 9:5 shows Christ's diety ... He is God. While the one with fullness of deity died (Col 1:18), His deity, that is being God did not die. Bottom line God didn't die. Searcher |
