1 | Meaning of John 3 verse 8? | John 3:8 | C.S.M. | 156670
Hi Hank, No not any more than, and perhaps I misunderstood, that the suggestion was made that what was posted was cultic. I enjoy sharing the word of God, and all on the forum seem to enjoy that also, so it may be some misinterpretations of intent on both sides. I realize that he is well thought of by several of the forum participants and that is good, but I see that Doc is well able to stand for his own opinions and writings, better than most. I also suspect he is a theology professor, with loyal students, which is as it should be, but it still doesn't negate the fact that God has the final say in his word. I realize there are more than one cell in the body and all cells are supposed to work together for the good of the whole body, not for just one cell, correct? Did anyone say he should be eliminated from the body? Not from here! Could he be right? Of course! Could he be wrong? of Course! The final say comes from God, not mankind (which includes all that have ever lived, right? Except Jesus of Course.) You are loved of God, and so is all the other people who do not see the same things in the body of Christ, on the same level or with the same understanding. The major thing we agree upon is that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God. Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

Thanks for your response to my note, C.S.M., although I'm not certain what point you were attempting to make. My own limitations, I suppose. Having noted your reference to denominational orientations, it occurs to me that we know so little about yours. Your user profile is blank, yet you have entered something over a hundred posts to date. It is always helpful to us, your peers on the Forum, to know a little something of one another's background, such as belief systems, church affiliation, etc. You are welcome to look at my user profile as an example of the kinds of things I'm talking about. There are many others that are better if you'd care to inspect them. It helps us to know "where you're coming from" if we know a little about where you've been :-) So won't you fill in your user profile, telling us more about yourself than we know now? Soli Deo gloria! --Hank
