1 | Meaning of John 3 verse 8? | John 3:8 | C.S.M. | 156660 | ||
Hi Doc, scripture speaks for itself, being the word of God, and it is able to explain what no human can, that is the reason so much scripture is included when my post is sent. Quotes from other people or other sources may or may not be right in God's sight, which is the only sight a person should be concerned about, don't you agree? Being in the same boat as the Apostle Paul, all believers are admonished Ro 12:3 "not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith." In God's method of teaching all mankind, he has given us the ability to understand him through his word, yet each understands from a different perspective, as I Cor 12:13-27, says. All understand that the body has different parts that are not supposed to do the job of the adjoining parts, God designed it that way, on purpose, so that each part would "have the same care one for another." That denotes love beyond what each of us understand individually. Therefore, we can receive one another in this analogy of the Lord's, without being puffed up, in what each of us understand, as we have been taught of the Lord. He is very wise to teach his children not to be rejectors but be as he is, "a receiver of all those who diligently seek him." Heb 11:6 You are blessed, I am blessed, God is the King of all blessings, I endeavor to share the blessings of the Word God has trained me with, with those who can receive it in the spirit in which it is shared, by the word of God. Be blessed in greater measures than you've ever been before, God loves you. Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

CSM: "Quotes from other people or other sources may or may not be right in God's sight..." Amen! It is also true that your interpretation or mine may or may not be correct. "It seems odd, that certain men who talk so much of what the Holy Spirit reveals to themselves, should think so little of what he has revealed to others." -- C. H. Spurgeon Grace to you, Kalos |
