1 | Are we gods? | John 10:34 | DBR | 127575
The key for me is "like God" making her own mind up on what is good and bad, here in the Garden that right only belong the God the Father so to take that role upon oneself is to put one self in place of God, thus become the one saying what is right and wrong, here in the Garden only a God Right to do, she became a god assuming that role herself and even worse than that her husband agreed and because obedance is an act of worship in the Garden. Today that is the big issues world-wide will humans obey God The Father or not or make gods for themselves!. DBR |

Hello DBR, Your application of your key phrase ("like God") is somewhat off. Eve did not know the difference between good and evil, because she had not yet eaten of the tree. She transgressed because she was deceived (1 Tim 2:14), so she did not bear the guilt as Adam did (Rom 5:12) being the one responsible. Steve |

3 | Are we gods? | John 10:34 | DBR | 127617
Eve did know the difference between god and bad because of her reply to the Devil:- Genesis 3:2-3 At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” she knew what was good and bad as Adam had told her because this is what she said to Him, The Devil, so she diliabratly disobeyed God's command about the Tree, thus she died as well as Adam as they where both now sinners.
