1 | Is it wrong to like our bad past? | Luke 13:3 | Ruth77 | 76434
I really don't know how to put this in a direct question form. I'm new to all of this and really don't know much. I guess what I want to know is if we have changed our ways from the past and our now learning to walk with God is it wrong to think what we've done in our past is still ok knowing (now) that we were sinning then? Another way to ask it I guess would be, is bad for us to not hate the fact that we committed sins in the past, even though when we were committing those sins in the past we did not know we were sinning. Example, let's say, when I was 14 and I knew nothing about God and was never tought anything on how to believe or to deciver right from wrong. And at that time (14) I committed what I know NOW as being a sin. Is it wrong for me to not HATE the fact that I did that then. While now I am learning more and more about the way of God??
2 | Is it wrong to like our bad past? | Luke 13:3 | jlpangilinan | 76435
Lu 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. I dont think if you repent you still like your bad past. Your question is "Is it wrong to like our bad past" Yes if you like your bad past the tendency of going back is so strong. When you repent because you know already the truth of Christ, I dont think you still like your bad past, what kind of repentance of that anyway? God bless, |
