1 | Combat SIN | Luke 11:4 | Searcher56 | 77830
Sin is never conquered. But, in order to combat it one thing to do is ask the Lord to assist you with your temptations ... first thing in the morning ... and thru the day. I highly suggest you do not say we can be without sin, as you have posted ... for someone should stand up and challenge you, at that time. I would. |

2 | Combat SIN | Luke 11:4 | PJC | 77835
Remember what Romans 6:6 and Romans 6:12 say: We are no longer slaves to sin AND we are not to let sin reign in our bodies. What this says about those who believe is that we no longer habitually sin. Believers do sin, but our sins should not be ongoing, repetative. The sin we have been set free of is the habitual sin that takes over ones' life. I hope this helps in understanding. PJC |
