I believe this applies to Israel as a whole,yet can be the example of God's love to an individual...isn't God the same today,yesterday,and forever more.The Prophet Malachi said,it like this...I am the LORD and i change not..thank you so very much for your assitance...Please pray for me as i seek out the will of the LORD. | ||||||

Dear aj, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pray for you. You can be certain that we have been and we will continue to do so. We have to be particularly careful about overextending an analogy. When the Scripture is explicit that there is an analogy being presented -- as in Hosea -- then we should be diligent to understand what is being presented in just that way. What we want to do is to carefully understand the scriptures in the context in which they were written. Nothing in Scripture, ever means anything other than what it was originally intended to mean.
