Greetings FytRobert! 1) Scripture never says anything about Gabriel rebelling against God. 2) Scripture does say that God knows the end from the beginning (Is. 45:21 and Is. 46:10). So, I would say that He certainly knew that Adam and Eve would disobey! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Hi Tim, Once again you have kindly come forward to impart your knowledge.Thanks. 1. You said "Scripture never says anything about Gabriel rebelling against God." If gabriel did not rebel against God, how come gabriel is now so opposed to Godand he is making every effort to tempt us to do the same? 2.You said "..I would say that He certainly know that Adam and Eve would disobey" It would seem illogical that God knew Adam and Eve would disobey His command and yet He allowed that to happen and thereafter displayed His anger.Displaying of anger signifies regrets? Your comments, please. With love in Christ FytRobert |

Hi, FytRobert; I can only find two mentions of Gabriel in the Bible - helping Daniel interpret visions in chapters 8 and 9 and announcing Jesus' birth to Zacharias and Mary in Luke 1. Where does it say that Gabriel is now opposed to God? Thanks. Peace and grace, Steve aka Indiana Jones |

Hi Tim/Steve, It has now come to my knowledge that I have made a mistake in mentioning Gabriel instead of Lucifer.Lucifer is the one. My apologies for the inconvenience caused. Trusting that you are now able to comment further. With Love in Christ FytRobert |

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I could have assumed Lucifer, but given some of the weird ideas that turn up here from time to time ... well, you never know. - Indy |
