Dear walkforchrist, Here are several scriptures that come to my mind that will help you, Hbr 4:14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hbr 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Hbr 4:16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. 1Cr 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. Romans gives us some wonderful directions on how to see God's will, rather than our own, accomplished in our lives. Rom 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. I will be praying for you as I'm sure others on the forum will be. Stay close to the light of Christ so you are not blinded by the darkness. Your best weapon is His Word which will transform you and renew your mind and prayer which will bring you comfort, stength and confidence in His ability to deliver you from these things. God bless and keep you in His light, budderfligh |
