Wrong post, sorry! Greetings Timberwolfe3, The only ones that are under grace, and not under the law, are those that are “totally” trusting in Jesus as the Messiah. No one has ever been saved by keeping the law! The object of the law is to show us just how hopeless and helpless we really are and to bring us to the place where we cry out to God for help. God “has taken” care of the sin problem in the person of His Son, Jesus, the anointed on from God. If one were hanging from the bottom of an airplane by ten links of a chain, how many of those links would have to break before the person went into free fall and was heading for their doom? Right, just one! God says that we are all born spiritually dead and headed for doom. 1 Cor. 15:22 (A) For as in Adam all die,. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; One can’t be saved or justified by keeping the law, or the commandments; that isn’t the laws object. The law is there because we received, from dear old grandfather Adam, an old sin nature, and we can’t possibly keep the law. The law can only bring us to the point of realization that we need help outside of ourselves. i.e. God has to help! We all actually deserve death or separation from God forever because of our sin condition. Romans 6:23 (A) For the wages of sin is death; Jesus had more trouble with the self righteous crowed more then anyone else, because they thought they were good enough by keeping the law according to “their” standards. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost. Mark 2:17 And when Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. By righteous it means “self righteous”, those that “assumed” they were doing the right thing before God! Titus 3:5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Ephes. 2:8-9 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; [9] not of works, that no man should glory. A lot of people confuse how the law works. A person can’t break one commandment and then keep the rest and expect it to be evened out. Just like the person hanging from the bottom of a plane by the ten links of a chain. They can keep the other nine after they have broken just one and expect it do them any good. They better cry out to God for mercy because no matter what they try to crank out, it isn’t going to help; even if they flap their arms like a bird at ultra high speed they are still going to make a sudden stop at point X. Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Abraham was 430 before the law was given and he was saved without the law. Galatians 3:10-11 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them. [11] Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith; Galatians 3:22 But the scriptures shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Notice it didn’t say given to them that try to keep the law. Galatians 3:24 So that the law is become our tutor to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:26 For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus. 1 John 5:10-13 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. [11] And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. [12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. [13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. People need to change their minds about the person of Jesus and what he did for them while on the cross. Those who are working for eternal life will receive wages. Those that have quit trying and have started trusting, in Jesus, will receive the gift Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Have a nice day, CDBJ |

Ocelot: Thank you for the web cite. I will read and study this. I believe every word in the Bible to be true. Therefore I believe the last of God's book in Rev. 22: 18-19. I have been quite possibly disagreeing with the truth. But with the grace of God I will find the right answers. It is hard to believe that all of the scholars and evangelist of our time have been living a lie. And preaching The Bible incorrectly to millions of believers about the Sabbath, God's day to keep Holy. God Bless all of you |

Truth has never been popular. In the time of Noah, only eight people boarded the ark. During the time of Elijah only 7000 people in Israel and Judah, God’s chosen people, had not bowed the knee to Baal. In the time of Christ, God’s own people crucified Their Savior. During the dark ages the “Christian Majority” burned many thousands at the stake for possessing knowledge of the truth. Ocelot |
