Hi, Cheryl... Yes, that would, indeed, be a more precise word in this particular context. It has been a long time since I've seen it used! Thank you for pointing it out. In some ways we understand God in human terms. Not because that is really who He is... but because He uses such language of Himself. Yet He clearly warns us not to fall into the other side of the ditch in making too much of such comparisons.
