1 | Was Sampson a suicide terrorist killer? | Judges | Mc2001 | 17360
What's the difference between Sampson and the terrorists? Obviously, God used Sampson to glorify Himself during the occupation by the Philistines. Sampson killed himself in the destruction of their twin towers and killed thousands. Is it merely our God is real and theirs is not? I understand Christ brought us into an age of grace and love, but it is understandable that another religion would have similar views about killing as a judgement, isn't it?
2 | Was Sampson a suicide terrorist killer? | Judges | Searcher56 | 17394
McLemore, Would you say God is a terrorist (1 Sam 16:15; Job 6:4, 31:23)? Samson wanted revenge one more time (Jdg 16:28). I think it as an act of war, as so many times in the OT. Steve |

3 | Was Sampson a suicide terrorist killer? | Judges | Mc2001 | 17481
God is not a terrorist and neither was Samson (no "P"). It's merely interesting to see radical views of today by some religions were not always so radical... The difference is our God changed the relationship from judgement to grace-- "theirs" still hasn't.
4 | Was Sampson a suicide terrorist killer? | Judges | Lionstrong | 17512
2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Ex 34:6 Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; Ex 34:7 who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations." Greetings Mc, The Lord has not changed from judgement to grace. He revealed to Moses a long time ago that he is a God of grace, compassion and judgement. And he revealed in Christ that we would all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. No God has not and does not change, which is why his lovingkindness endures forever and we are not consumed. Mal 3:6 "For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. and, Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Peace, Lionstrong |
