1 | Why didn't God make people to love him? | Genesis | Hank | 64040
Hello, Steve. I may be wrong, and if I am, I believe God will correct me in heaven, but it is my belief that we cannot imagine the intense sorrow and grief God felt when Adam and Eve listened to the voice of the serpent and disobeyed their Creator; nor the sorrow and grief that God felt when, because of sin, yet out of His grace and love, it became necessary to give His only beloved Son to suffer and die on a cruel Roman cross so that sinful man might be redeemed. Yes, Steve, I too think that it has been God's desire from the beginning that we love Him with all our heart, and it grieves Him beyond human measure when we disobey Him and fall prey to sin. --Hank

Hello Hank Amen! When I read in Hosea of God's anguish for His people, it causes me to marvel that I could cause Him that pain. As the song goes: O, how He loves you and me. Steve |
