Dear Sister Azure, Dust plus water... Isn't that mud? :-) Hmmm... that reminds me of John 9:6! In Him, Doc PS Just to be sure no one misunderstands, I'm only jesting. I do not really think that Genesis 2:7 and John 9:6 are connected. |

Yes, Sister Azure, I do, indeed, think God's formula is perfect. My only doubts is that we have the formula. The Hebrew word in Genesis 2:7 could just as easily be translated as mud or even dirt. For example, the Philistines in Genesis 26:15 maliciously filled wells with this same substance. It is unlikely that they would have used clay, but just whatever dirt was around. Sorry... isn't as pleasant sounding, is it? :-) In Him, Doc |

What I can think of is that how awesome is our God who glorifies us (dirty, muddy and filthy sinners) by making us righteous in Christ and that we may glorify Him even though we were so m-u-d-d-y. Thank you very much for the sharing, Brother Doc. :-) Shalom Azure |

Oh my Sister! If the way you so gracfuly glorify Our Father is muddy, well then, I'll have some of that mud! :-) "For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away." Is 64:6 "But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand." Is 64:8 God bless John |
