1 | What is the meaning of Verse 1? | Gen 1:1 | oscar | 30833
When God created the Time, he creates the space and the matter. He create them in that order, because with no time there is no space and the space was need for the matter to expand on the space. Hard to understand a Universe with no time, but there was no universe, until God create time. This is the reason why we understand that God is not a subject of time, but in Him resides the cause of time. We can go on and on, over this verse, it is very rich and it has a lot of physical meaning. With out time, there is no motion, there is no parts. That's why God is a Unity, with no parts, therefore he fills up all the space. With no space we cannot think of matter. This verse explain the creation, when God said "Lets there be light", and the logical sequence of creation. Oscar |

Oscar, we could, as you say, go on and on about Genesis 1:1. Many others have done so, and you are by no means the first.... Please permit me to cite a ten-word quotation that explains things like no other has ever been able to do quite so well: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." --Hank
