Well my friend I must say you sure haven't heard of what's going on in some of the foreign countries to brothers and sisters in Christ who are being starved!!!! I suppose, “just because you didn’t see it”, the holocaust enforced by Hitler didn’t take place either? When one actually thinks about it all we, as humans, really need is salvation through Christ and when we get to glory we will have everything and God will have supplied it. Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Enjoy your next meal, CDBJ |

802 | "Two witnesses." When? Who? | Rev 11:3 | CDBJ | 136551
Hi mommapbs, Your post has me thoroughly confused. Do you believe the order of events described by Paul in II Thes? The subject is found in verse 1, which is what most believers generally call the rapture. 2 Thes. 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, Paul goes on to tell us that certain thing “must” transpire “BEFORE” the Lord will return, which to me means that the Lord won’t gather us until it happens. 2 Thes. 2:3-5 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? Now it looks like you are trying to deceive me by telling me the following, which is in opposition to what Paul taught? “When we, as followers of Jesus, fully appreciate that the Lord could return at any moment,” So who is right, Paul or you, saying that the Lord could return at any moment? I hope you see the same things in these verses that I do, because a lot of believers are going to have their faith shaken to the core when these thing start to transpire, when the son of perdition shows up and is persecuting the church and we haven’t left the earth yet? If Satan can't get at the Jews he is going to go after the Church. Rev. 12:12-17 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. [13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. [14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. [15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. [16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. [17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. These past verses coincide with what Paul was telling us in II Thess. and what Jesus said in Matt 24! Have a great day, CDBJ |

Greetings mommapbs, Here is another point that might back up what Kalos was saying, with regards to the apostasy. Notice the warnings given to Christians in the following verses. Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Luke 18:8 (B) Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? 2 Thes. 2:1-5 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? The word, brethren, is used in verse one and then in verse three Paul gives the same warning that Jesus spoke of Mathew; Let no man deceive you. Are we being deceived today as to the return of the Lord and the order of events that will transpire before His return??? Have a nice day, CDBJ |

I am glad that the Lord has blessed you so abundantly but your post has me somewhat perplexed, you stated; “Trust me they are not to Christian children starving those that are starving don't belong to God” For starters, why should anyone trust you? Secondly, by your statement, are you suggesting that Paul the apostle wasn’t a child of God? There seems to be a difference of opinion between what you are suggesting and what Paul wrote. Incidentally the word that Paul uses for hungry come to us from the Koine Greek, infinitive, present, active of PEINAO which carries the following conation; to famish (absolute or comparatively); figurative to crave be an hungered. ie. Paul has experienced and it currently in such a condition. This is only a minor part of what the risen Lord said would happen to him! Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. Paul, getting back to the subject of viewpoints, affirms these conditions. Philip. 4:11-12 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. [12] I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I lean a little heaver on what Paul says when the words “Trust me” are used!! Now you are trying to assure us that these thing won’t happen to a true Christian? You might want to consider the following? Hebrews 12:1-7 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, [2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. [4] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. [5] And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: [6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Have a great day, CDBJ |

Hi Hank, You probably right about your autos being better. I’m never able to blow the carbon out of mine seeing that they are only used for short trips, back and forth up to the lake, anything over 100 miles I take one of my two jets, depending on the distance and if it’s transoceanic or not. I think my second jet, or what we all like to call the big one, fit right in with the following verse of Scripture. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. [3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Greetings, I for one believe in divine healing, but not individuals that claim to be divine healers. God is able to do everything that He desires to do to fulfill His great purpose! Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. If one claims healing as a result of their great faith, in a Scriptural promise for healing, please show me the evidence with “one” example of a person, with the so called gift of healing, that has lived through the “centuries” with out succumbing to physical death, if what you say is so? God might have a purpose for that fact that you have been healed, if that’s the case, praise the Lord! Please don’t assume that you are special as a result of it and that other Christians are second class, should they not have the same experience that you did, or that they are lesser for not being healed! Luke 12:48 (B) For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: Have a great pain free day, CDBJ |

809 | what does the water refer to in john 3:5 | John 3:5 | CDBJ | 135108
Greetings Ray, With all due respect, the inerrant ability of a language to clarify itself is not found or diagnosed with the use of diacritical marks, as is used in the English Language; it is more explicit when the proper use of syntax is used, which we find in the Koine Greek, of the New Testament! It’s interesting that the Lord chose the Koine Greek as the language of accommodation to present the fantastic truth to us, about Himself and His precious Son. I for one don’t think we can improve on God’s choice or should we even try to second guess the Lord for His excellent choice, which doesn’t consist of the use of large caps, periods, commas, etc, or even paragraph brakes, for that matter, in the original. Just my opinion, which isn’t scripture either by any stretch of the imagination! Have a great day, CDBJ |

810 | what does the water refer to in john 3:5 | John 3:5 | CDBJ | 135070
First I would like to apologize for being so long in answering this post but my PC died on me. When John 3:5 speaks of water, John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. I would like to propose a question; can anyone be born again apart from the understanding of God’s Word, with reference to Jesus Christ in the salvation message? Since the answer to the previous, is an obvious NO, then the water in John 3:5 by process of observation, has to be none other then the actual Word of God itself. Water is analogous to something that cleanses, as God’s Word can make one clean when personally applied to ones self by the gracious function of faith in trusting in God’s Son, Jesus. Ephes. 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, The following is the same as being born again. James 1:18 (a) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, Have a great day, CDBJ |

Greetings Reighnskye, I would like to apologize for the way that some seem to come across on the forum! I think a lot of it has to do with the use of caps when they are trying to emphasize certain things. All of us as believers in Christ have a new nature but as long as we are in these mortal bodies we still are influenced by our old sin nature and sometimes it gets the upper hand and we tend to operate through the power of the flesh instead of the power of the Spirit. There is a good point of Scripture that we should all be aware of and take to heart when posting others. I believe the situation in question is being handled; In the meantime I would appreciate it if all would take the time to read the following and realize that the Lord is speaking to us as well as to those in Paul’s letter. 1 Cor. 13:1-13 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. [2] And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. [3] And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. [4] Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, [5] does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, [6] does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; [7] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. [8] Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. [9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; [10] but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. [11] When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. [12] For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known. [13] But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Zech. 4:6 Then he answered and said to me, "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts. We can’t force the Word of God, The Bible on any one all we can do is present it in a loving fashion with the following Scripture in mind! Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 1 Tim. 2:3-4 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 813 | Still waiting.... | 1 Cor 8:5 | CDBJ | 131086
Greetings pcdarcan, Just about anything, other then the Lord God, could be said as emanating form the center of evil or Satan, even the following! Philip. 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) The Bible is very explicate as to who one serves, there are only two forces at work in this world. Matthew 6:24 (A) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? There is the work of the Holy Spirit and the working of Satan in this world, no matter what color one would like to paint them. There is only one true God and His Christ, Jesus, and all the rest only detract from Him and are not even infinitesimal by comparison. The Lord God has a loving glorious plan for all those that will trust in His dear Son, Jesus, but Satan is also at work, diverting the attention of those that are lost and distorting truth. 2 Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. Isaiah 45:23-24 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. [24] Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. Philip. 2:5-11 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Tell me pcdarcan, have you discovered and experienced yet the fantastic personal relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ? John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Looking forward to hearing from you, have a great day, CDBJ |

The Bible is very adamant about the fact that all will stand before God someday, for judgment, of which all but the "very least", intellectually speaking or the inept with regard to the Bible, on this forum have completely agreed! Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Who, in your opinion, will all of mankind be standing in front of, God the Father, God the Son, Or God the Holy Spirit: since all will be judged by God? Hello Hank, How could I add anything to that marvelous post! All I can say about Eternal Security is that I feel for those that don’t have it yet! I’m sure glad that it depends on the Lord and not on me to maintain it because while I am still in “this” body I can make mistakes but my Savior sure doesn’t and I have been placed in Him positionally until such time as he calls me home. Though my home dwelling may change, my position is Christ can never be improved on, no matter how many years go by; be it one day or one million years I can never improve my position in Christ because it is totally provided by the grace and love of God. 2 Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Ephes. 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Just because we can’t see it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t happened yet; God says it has happened and it’s over and done with! 818 | Evidence of Regneration 2 | 2 Cor 5:21 | CDBJ | 128992
Greetings Doc T. Your heading, “Evidence of Regeneration”, this to me personally was a strange thing, that actually happened to me and for that matter still does. After the point in time, when I trusted in the finished work of Jesus Christ for my eternal life, I noticed that I would wake up every morning thinking about the Lord; that wasn’t a natural thing for me in my life before the Lord regenerated me! I can’t back any of this up with any Scripture that I know of other then possible 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. I don’t even know if any others, other then my wife, experience this, but this truly happened to me personally and is continuing to this day! Before I was regenerated thoughts about God weren’t a part of my daily thought process! When I was younger in the Lord I thought to myself, WOW, this is really strange but great; I am aware of the Lord’s presence in my life and my thought patterns have changed! Have a great day, CDBJ |

Hi Country Girl, There is a source of information that I would like to suggest, it is a book that they will send you free of charge, which is extremely informative, and it will eliminate me stirring up the proverbial hornets nest on the forum!! Been there done that. My soap box has the top pushed in from me standing on it so long, ho, ho! Check this out if you like to read books, as I do, and it won't cost you anything unless you would like to contribute something. Their policy is that anything they publish connected with the Word of God should be free, and if the Lord lays it on your heat to contribute to their publications that would be great. I get a lot of taps from them also. Enjoy! http://www.berachah.org/reversionism.htm Have a great day, CDBJ |

820 | Human Power? | John 15:5 | CDBJ | 128696
Hi Country Girl, The Bible tells us that God is Love, 1 John 4:8 (B) for God is love. God functions as a result of this component, love, toward us; It’s not because He is desperate or wants very badly, as you have suggested, or because of any consequence toward Him. You suggested, “He still wants very badly to have the whole world repent and give up this world of sin.” 2 Peter 3:9 (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. The word “Wanting”, in the previous verse means that God’s love made the provision for us in the person of His Son Jesus the Christ. Repentance, as mentioned, and faith are two sides of the same coin you can't have one with out the other. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. God’s love is very hard to explain in human terms because His love is so far above human love that it’s hard for the human mind to comprehend. God’s love doesn’t change because of circumstances or situations. It doesn’t grow or diminish because of situations; it's a constant. Malachi 3:6 (A) For I am the Lord, I change not; God is not in love, He is love! Human love is so unstable that we can love a person one day and hate them the next! God’s love isn’t dependent on us it’s dependent on Him therefore it doesn't change. Whether we fail or succeed won’t change the love of God one little bit, because it doesn’t depend on anything outside of Himself, it’s His nature and always has been and always will be. There is nothing that is antecedent to God’s love it is first and foremost. Even if, and when, we commit sins as a believer it doesn’t affect the love of God for us by one iota, because His fantastic AGAPE love isn’t dependent on us it’s dependent on Him and His essence; sin will put one out of fellowship but it doesn’t change God’s love for us. The total essence of God emanates from the fact that God is love. The Omniscient God knew in eternity past everything we would ever do, even after we became Christians and His love still revealed Christ to us and saved us, when we trusted in His Messiah, Jesus. I don’t think, personally speaking, that we will ever “completely” comprehend the love of God because it is so vast! 1 Cor. 13:8 Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away. Hallelujah what a savior!!! Have a great day, CDBJ |
