Does anyone know how long is a short time for Satan's reign on this earth? Rev 20:1-3 said that he'd be locked up for a thousand years then released to us. Could someone tell me when that thousand years began, when it ended, and how long more can we anticipate the dragon to be with us? |

41725 | MARK OF THE BEAST? | Rev 20:4 | REX | 108487
RFID Tags Confirmed Down Under www.endtime.com RFID MEANS Radio Frequency IDentification After the alarm was sounded that RFID chips were being tested in Gillette razors in the United States, the company retreated. But it appears that they have merely transferred their spy chip testing to elsewhere--down under with Australia's largest retailer, Coles Myer. Is this the technology that will become the Mark of the Beast? And if so, how long will it be before it becomes a part of our society’s daily life? Testing and trial runs are the precursors to a chipped population, a population that will be unable to buy or sell without giving allegiance to the coming One-World Government. |

41726 | Logic in timing in steps. | Rev 20:4 | Emmy | 118167
Hi: Logic in timing in smaller steps. The first resurrection is after the beast of Revelation is revealed. The first resurrection is after the beast is being worshipped. The first resurrection is after the marks of the beast is instituted. This means that the resurrection takes place after the beast, image and mark have been fully instituted. The revealing of the beast, his being worshipped, the worship of his image, and the taking of the mark of the beast are event that take place during tribulation. Therefore the tribulations are well under way before the first resurrection occurs. If people are to be killed for refusing to worship the beast, his image or to take his mark, then the beast image and mark all have to be instituted while these people are still alive. Another way of saying this is one could not be beheaded for refusing to worship the beast and his image, or refusing to take the mark if the beast, image and mark were not here yet. Here is the passage that puts these ideas together. Main idea in Capitals. Rev 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. THEY HAD NOT WORSHIPPED THE BEAST OR ITS IMAGE AND HAD NOT RECEIVED ITS MARK ON THEIR FOREHEADS OR ON THEIR HANDS . They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Can anyone see a fault in this line of thinking so far ? Namely that the first resurrection occurs after the tribulations have started and the beast, image and mark of the beast all are present before the resurrection. Sincerely Henry and Emmy |

41727 | "beheading" in modern times? | Rev 20:4 | Pastor Glenn | 124766
"...And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God..." Rev 20:4 Just when I was beginning to think that "beheading" was over with in modern times, terrorists begin it again. In general, persecution is not so bad yet in the United States. But times are changing. Any comments? Pastor Glenn |

41736 | Is this verse a parenthesis in the Mss | Rev 20:5 | Isabel | 7264

41737 | How many resurrections, and where stated | Rev 20:5 | Isabel | 7294
Your answer suggests there is a definite 1000 year separation between the resurrection of the just and the unjust. Where else in the Bible does it clearly state there will be two resurrections; and how does this square with John 5:28 and 29?
41738 | verse besides Rev.20:5 that show two res | Rev 20:5 | Isabel | 7316
Thank you for your response. I am aware of the special resurrections in Matthew 27:52-53 (not unto immortality); 1 Corinthians 15:23 (Christ the firstfruits, then His saints) and Revelation 11:3-11 (the two witnesses;) however, John 5:25,28 and 29 specifically state: "Marvel not at this: for THE HOUR (not hours or years) is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." Besides Revelation 20:5, where else in the Bible is there scripture that corroborates or makes a distinction that the just are raised 1000 years before the unjust. Also, can you provide other scripture examples of your 'telescoping'conclusions. Yours In Christ, Isabel. |

41739 | Need more on THE HOUR and the ALL who he | Rev 20:5 | Isabel | 7361
Thank you Tim and Nolan. I certaintly don't want to beat a dead horse here. However, I would still like a response to the issue of THE HOUR and the ALL who hear the sound of His voice aspect. This discussion began when I asked if Rev.20:5 was in parenthesis, seeing that I find no other scripture that alludes to or comfirms more than one resurrection. For example, examine Psalms 1:5; 7:6; 149:9; Matthew 10:15; 11:22,24; 12:36; Luke 11:31,32; Acts 24:15,25; 1 Corinthians 15:22,23; Hebrews 6:2; 2 Peter 2:9; 3:7; 1 John 4:17; Rev. 14:7, they all either state THE HOUR or THE DAY, implying a specific event for both the just and the unjust. Most of these verses cited are also preceded by the article "a" or "the" - which implies ONE Resurrection for both the just and the unjust, whereas Rev. 20:5 is the only verse I can find that is alluding to another resurrection 1000 years later, and that verse is parenthesized by several other versions. While I would never question God's word, I feel it would not be heretical to ask if there is the remotest possibility that the translators might have unwittingly inferred there is a resurrection 1000 years later, especially since that verse comes right after the first mention of the redeeemed reigning with Christ for 1000 years. Being that there are so many other scripture that are specific about The Resurrection, compared solely to Rev 20:5, one would be more prone to lean towards there being only one resurrection, rather than two. If Rev 20:5 is corrct, then I'm certain there must be another place in the Bible that mentions or alludes to more than one resurrection, or that will confirm Rev. 20:5. If you cannot provide me with other corroborating scripture to Rev. 20:5, may I at least have your thoughts about THE HOUR and the ALL who hear His voice aspect? Thank You! Yours In Christ!
